The story, in brief: About 300 black youths were partying in a Jacksonville, FL home Saturday night when police broke up the festivities. The mob then converged on a nearby Wal-Mart, causing havoc. One man was shot in the leg. According to one report, about $1500 worth of merchandise was stolen. The crowd dispersed when one of the mob shouted “Let’s go to Wendy’s!”
Video of the wilding was posted on YouTube and embedded at the link above, but it has gone private and is no longer visible. Here is a local news report, that cuts to the raw video a little over a minute in.
This man calls the youths out for their behavior. He pulls no punches about what has happened, or what should happen to the wilders.

This is all fueled by the anti-white racism that pervades American media, not to mention our government and legal system.
It teaches the perpetrators to have a sense of entitlement, so that they feel absolutely no shame or guilt whatsoever about preying upon white people (and on all nonblacks) and on any business or institution that they perceive to be white-owned.
You said, “This is all fueled by the anti-white racism that pervades American media, not to mention our government and legal system.”
Have you any concept of what racism even is? Racism requires two elements: a feeling of superiority, one’s race IS superior to another’s, and authority or power. In order to oppress others, you must be in a position to do so. Minorities are not capable of the kind of systemic oppression present in America.
The legal system is undeniably racist and white people have an automatic advantage simply by being white. Study after study has proven that blacks are sentenced more harshly than whites, even in very similar circumstances. Blacks typically receive a longer or more harsh penalty on black-on-black crimes than whites receive for committing the same crime.
The media is certainly racist, but not against whites.
What you may be reaching for is “prejudice” or “bigoted”, which any person can be against any other person for any variety of reasons.
As for having a sense of entitlement, I’m curious as to what made you think that about the people who did this. They exhibited reckless abandon and complete apathy for the persons who are responsible for and own the property they were destroying, but that was a product of being “high” on the party atmosphere and mob mentality.
The rest of your comment is just nonsense. Only white people shop at Walmart, own Walmart stock, have a stake in the store, are employed by the store, or otherwise benefit from the store? This mob was not “preying on white people (and on all nonblacks)”. It was acting like a mob and detached from any sense of responsibility or accountability.
Educate yourself on the terms you’re attempting to apply to this situation and the institutions you’re attempting to discuss. It’ll work out better for ALL OF US, if you do.
Who took the stake out of Derrick Bell’s heart?
Stake? Truly, our media is shameful in its presentation, then. Derrick Bell died of cancer, not being staked through the heart. Or were you implying that someone staked the man’s corpse to prevent him from “rising from the dead”? Someone so seemingly educated as you believes in superstition?
Derrick Bell died of cancer? Good. I hope the racist bastard suffered before he was shunted to his eternal reward. It would be some small payback for the cancer he foisted on society—which appears to have infected you.
Only white people can be racist?
Gee, if my 24 year old relative, murdered by a black stranger who made an anti-white statement at the trial, knew that…why, I just bet he wouldn’t be laying in a dark, cold grave for the last two decades, but would be marching along side Al and Jesse with a sign, “NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE!!”
And sending you a “Thanks a Whole Bunch” card for enlightening us all.
You said, “Only white people can be racist?”
In the present-day United States, precisely. Only majorities with authority or power can perpetuate the kind of systemic oppression that is a requirement of racism. As I clearly stated in my reply above, minorities can exhibit prejudice or bigotry, but cannot be racist.
You said, “Gee, if my 24 year old relative, murdered by a black stranger who made an anti-white statement at the trial, knew that…”
I’m sorry for your loss. As tragic as it was, it was not the result of racism. It’s a shame that you have clearly taken that tragedy and made it a beacon for negativity.
You said, “And sending you a “Thanks a Whole Bunch” card for enlightening us all.”
You’re so welcome. Happy to have been of assistance.
I am white, and have no power or authority, except for the power of my one vote. Are you saying I could not possibly be racist?
Call to Insanity and Race Pimping says: “As I clearly stated in my reply above, minorities can exhibit prejudice or bigotry, but cannot be racist.”
That is utter bullshit.
If “minorities cannet be racist”, that means they are not capable of the same moral agency possessed by, er, “majoritiies”. The only human beings without moral agency are small children, the severely mentally ill, and the mentally handicapped.
Never mind the “soft bigotry of low expectations”; the poorly-named Call To Reason is barely even recognizing blacks and other minorities as fully human.
Behold the product of “liberal” thought.
He was mentally competent, and stated, “I have to kill two WHITE people to get into heaven.”
Not racist? Please. Go back to Huffington Post…they miss you.
Oh, and thanks again.
You can say that, in the context of this story? Seriously?
You are aware that no one – but no one – in this society, right this instant, is as powerful as a mob of black teenagers? Unless one of the same mob shoots another member of said mob, no one else dare do a single thing about their activities.
Because: RAAAAACISM!
White people have let themselves be beaten to a pulp rather than defend themselves from black punks, because they simply cannot win. To protect themselves, they might injure the black youths. If they do, they will, at an absolute minimum, be sued into oblivion.
Tell me again how minorities have no power.
“As I clearly stated in my reply above, minorities can exhibit prejudice or bigotry, but cannot be racist.”
There is no more racist sentiment than this — which is why it’s leftist dogma.
So.. It’s not racism because that requires a position of authority or power huh? Like outnumbering the Walmart staff ten to one or more, is that a position of power? A violent mob tearing a business apart while the helpless employees are unable to defend themselves isn’t in a position of power? Watching these animals at their full potential reminds me to pause in a moment of silence to celebrate all the accomplishments of Mr. Trayvon Martin. Too bad your taxpayer funded dual major in philosophy and bitterness studies didn’t impart any common sense to you.
“Racism requires two elements:…and authority or power.”
That lie was invented by leftists many years ago to allow blacks to be racists.
Can’t you come up with some new lies? You’re getting rather boring.
By “you” I mean not just you personally, but the left in general. The same lies and slanders, year after year, decade after decade.
I don’t see how it can be anti-white racism, exactly. I think it’s more that, with the glorification of thuggery in pop culture, these kids are barbarians. They have no other culture to identify with. It’s not coincidental, sadly, that this mob was black; it seems that – should a black child identify with any culture that is not degraded and be abused by her peers for “acting white” – a barbaric culture, with all the trimmings (destructive, touchy, apt to boast, apt to act for display, scornful of the notion of private property), has been actively encouraged by people who ought to have known better.
All this, in the name of authenticity.
It’s all going to end in tears.
Somebody’s got to put those evil businesses in their place, the “government” built that business you know, everything is free for the taking.
These people wonder why nobody wants to take the risk to build a business in their neighborhood or even to enter their neighborhood as paying customers. But it is everyone else’s fault that their neighborhoods are run down, right?
If these behaviors are not condemned, then these communities deserve to rot in the hell that they created for themselves.
“These people.” Who, exactly, are “these people”? Jacksonville area Floridians? Young people from Jacksonville? Mobs from Jacksonville?
Poverty is what causes communities to become rundown. It’s also what causes people to lose hope. It’s a well-known phenomena called “mob mentality”. Usually, it occurs when some violent or unjust event takes place, but mobs have been motivated by less to do far worse.
The excuses have already started. You are the “these people” I was referring to. The people who enable this kind of behavior and make excuses when it happens. Is it really poverty that causes this kind of behavior, or is it this kind of behavior that makes communities impoverished? I doubt Walmart will close it’s doors in this community, but it should.
You said, “The excuses have already started.”
I made NO excuses in what I said. I offered explanations. You, on the other hand, have readily and handily displayed your ignorance and thoughtlessness. You know what enables this kind of event? Adrenaline, a lack of order, “partying”, and mob mentality.
Run down communities, yes, are the product of poverty. Look at Detroit, as a prime example of what can happen to economically strong cities when big business stops investing and people start relocating to subdivisions. The people that are left in declining areas are the people who are not able to leave.
I’m not quite sure who said it, but someone pointed out that to say that poverty causes crime is a dreadful slander upon the poor.
So, you’re right. It’s the enabling of bad behavior that has created urban no-go zones.
“Poverty is what causes communities to become rundown.”
Exactly backwards.
The attitude that leads communities to become rundown is what leads to poverty.
Show me one, single community in the United States that became impoverished AFTER becoming run down and in ill repair.
Let’s put it this way, nobody wants to invest their time, toil, and capital in a business in a community where thugs run rampant and the people think like this; “if you have a business, you didn’t build it yourself, somebody else did that”. People just want to be allowed to live in dignity and take some pride in their accomplishments. These thugs should think long and hard about what they are doing to destroy their communities, which I am sure consist of a majority good people and this unfortunate minority of extremely disrespectful thugs.
The pioneers built communities from nothing in the middle of the unforgiving wilderness.
Berkeley. Or any other city with heavy-duty rent control. But Berkeley is the one I know intimately.
“Show me one, single community in the United States that became impoverished AFTER becoming run down and in ill repair.”
Various working-class black neighborhoods after the 60′s riots: Businesses (quite properly) moved out and the neighborhoods never recovered. Economist Thomas Sowell (among others) has discussed this in detail in his writings.
Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine.
Solidly working middle-class; slid into poverty as the new residents stopped caring for their property or respecting that of others. My grandparents owned multiple properties in the neighborhood, well-maintained and furnished with good-quality furniture. There was a general store at the end of their street, flourishing churches in the neighborhood, and one of the city’s best parks.
Race riots destroyed some of their buildings; the community slid into a slum. Ten years later, the city paid my grandparents $10,000 for the property that represented their life savings. The poverty-of-spirit and disregard for the rights of others started long before the majority of the neighborhood was on public assistance.
It’s time for responsible citizens and businesses to collectively punish a community that behaves this way. Walmart should close this store until the community turns in everybody in this mob as a warning that they will not do business in a sub culture that celebrates lawlessness and mob action. I applaud this gentleman for calling these goons out. If more members of the black community would stand up and tell their young people that they will be ostracized if they continue engage in criminal behavior then perhaps crime and violence in their neighborhoods will decline.
I bet Angela Corey does not want people like this guy on the jury because they are are going to side with George Zimmerman. They know that Trayvon Martin was a ghetto punk who would have been in the middle of a mob scene like this. She will want guilt ridden white liberals who will excuse any kind of bad behavior on the part of young black people.
So this man knows Martin is a “ghetto punk.” Did you watch his video? Seems like a pretty straight shooter. Now the straight shooters I know would avoid the rhetoric and prejudice, and say to themselves: “Well, Martin may or may not be a punk, but does the evidence indicate if he attacked Zimmerman or not?”
You know little about this man, other than he has the stones to say things that aren’t politically correct. I think he’s a good example of how to be level headed and not let ignorance and rhetoric drive one’s decisions.
Howard:
Wow, how PC of you.
The guy in video knows who’s who in zoo. You can bet he has looked at Martin’s history and know the type. He just called for all people in mob to spend time in prison so he knows that Martin has been a trouble maker and involved in gang related activities. In general black people know who the punks are. Some of them are brave enough to speak out. I applaud him.
Wow! Not only do you not have the courage to display your real name, but you’re psychic, too? And you’re an expert on political correctness?
Perhaps the saddest aspect of your comments is what you call “PC”. You just took our basic standards of jurisprudence-innocent until proven guilty and arriving at a verdict based upon objective review of the evidence-and called support of them “politically correct.”
I blame George Zimmerman.
What we are seeing is the fruits of a terrorist political culture. Since the late 1960s radicals in the inner cities — not just Blacks, by the way — have been effective at using the threat of violence to cow the business community into compliance. This is the work that people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, as well as other “community organizers” have been doing. David Horowitz describes this in detail in several of his books, and demonstrates how hard-core leftist radicals made this possible through their alliance with the Black Panthers and other similar terrorist groups. Meanwhile “street gangs” were romanticized, even portrayed as “freedom fighters” in a struggle against economic oppression.
Government handouts were the cure, of course. But more importantly was the creation of political satrapies and patronage jobs in the city. In the city I live in, run by the shadowy remnants of the old “civil rights” establishment, there is one city “worker” for every 50 residents. This is not to say that social services are good — they suck — but rather that everything is done in the same manner as in any good corrupt Party State — political patronage, not justice or economic growth is the goal. Meanwhile the poor live in increasing desperation, terrorized by bands of murderous thugs who operate beyond the law.
Actually, that’s not fair — in some cases they are the law. We had a new sheriff elected a few years back. There was widespread corruption involving the previous sheriff and his wife, a county official, using inmates from the county jail to do yard work for themselves and their friends. The new sheriff was elected and the next day gunned down in his driveway by thugs, thugs with ties to the old sheriff. The gangstas are the enforcers, the terrorist army of the corrupt Party State.
When you look at this crowd and the cavalier way they view their destructive actions, just remember: this is what placing “community organizing” over genuine participation in the political process. As a cheap way of dealing with “white guilt” and the realities of institutionalized racism, we surrendered control of large parts of our cities to people who were little better than terrorists and hucksters. And those people — the “leaders” and “community organizers” — have seen the people entrusted to their care as chattels and servants, to be milked for votes and kept in their place through a combination of economic tyranny and managed criminality.
THIS.
I would not be suprised if it took some government crony coersion to get this Walmart in this community to begin with. Who, in their right mind would risk putting a business in this neighborhood without a little arm twisting.
If that is the case, it kind of serves Walmart right. I feel bad for the good poor people that live in this neighborhood who may have limited choices as to where to shop thanks to the thugs and their disgusting behavior.
With honest men like this one there is a real opportunity to discuss race in America and possibly begin a process of creating mutual respect. I hope you continue to record and disseminate your opinions.
By the way…..NBC: If you have any desire to return to the business of HONEST news reporting since Microsoft finally had its fill of your lies and deceit, you should consider throwing Fat Al’s racist, ignorant, ebonics-challenged, bigoted, hate mongering *ss out into the street and hire this guy to give opinion and commentary on racial issues in America today.
They look like they could be Obama’s sons and daughters.
they are his sons and daughters, he is a cheap thug at heart, and they take after him
I am white. Sorry, born that way. Boomer. Raised to be tolerant and not pre-judge, by white parents who did. I could see thru it. I understood what they understood, that times had changed, and they must raise their children to fit with the future. It was easy for me to see thru the old paradigms; I was a youth of the futue! Seemed to work for a while. Saw thru my parents; now i see thru blacks. Now, I pre-judge because it works. Until the “black community” changes from its sorry state, there will be no sympathy from me (Been there, done that, Jesse Jackson is a millionaire.) A general sentiment of my generation of white people was, “The past is past, come along and welcome.” Now it is, “prove yourself, and your brothers and sisters have put you into a hole.”
It’s feeding time at the zoo! I didn’t know that monkeys had cell phones!
Hi Moby!
Is that you, “Call to Reason”?
The fellow in the second video makes a very important point. Stereotypes will not go away as long as there are large numbers of people who fulfill them. A mob of black hoodlums breaking into a store and concentrating around large boxes of watermelons effectively wrecks 70 years of combatting Stepin Fetchitt, Amos n’ Andy and similar pernicious images.
This type of actions are going to get worse. We are cursed as a nation for spending money on other countries when we should have spent money on our own. Job programs, welfare to job programs, southern border improvement programs would be a start.
If all Americans saw themselves as green, or red, white, and blue, we would be a stronger nation. As it is, a government check replaces a father, and children grow up without love.
We are divided.
I honestly feel bad for the guy in the second video.
