Can California’s Democrats do this? Didn’t the Supreme Court just rule that states cannot set their own immigration policies?
Enter California, a border state that is home to the largest number of illegal immigrants, most of whom are Hispanic, and is considerably more liberal than its neighbor Arizona.
A bill currently working its way through the California legislature would block local law enforcement from referring a detainee to immigration officials for deportation unless that person has been convicted of a violent or serious felony.
Watch Eric Holder whistle and not sue the Golden State.
When Arizona catches someone that is here illegally, they can put them on a bus to California. Heck, maybe they just run a special bus line along I-10. They will pick up anyone who wants to go to California and take them there for free. They will drop them several miles past the border and give them a $5 gift certificate for McDonalds and directions to San Francisco or LA.
That is so old school. The SCOTUS just said that it is legal to call any law a tax. Thus, AZ should just tax illegals $500 for every day that they are in the state. Don’t pay and all of your stuff is confiscated or you go the jail. Bingo, the problem is solved.
Y’know….this makes a certain amount of sense……
We need to make sure our tax dollars are not given to California to help them support their love of illegal aliens.
If that whacked out state loves illegals so much, let them survive on the large tax base they make off them.
I’m sure the illegal aliens wouldn’t mind.
CA isn’t alone. There are sanctuary cities in several states. You know they get plenty of money to support the illegals, many of whom probably have children who are US citizens because they were born here. From medical care to housing to education, our tax dollars support all twelve million (or is it twenty million?) illegals.
What the hell- CA already has made it illegal to inquire into any welfare applicant’s immigration ststus.
