The State Department put out a press release a short time ago strongly condemning arson and vandalism against a mosque in the West Bank — something it didn’t do yesterday for an attack on Israel’s southern border that left an Arab-Israeli construction worker dead.
“The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms today’s provocative attack on a mosque in the West Bank village of Kfar Jabaa near Ramallah. Hateful, dangerous, and provocative actions such as these are never justified,” the release from State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland states.
“We note that the Israeli Government has condemned this heinous attack and pledged to bring the perpetrators to justice. We look to Israeli law enforcement officials to do so expeditiously,” she added.
Hebrew graffiti reading “The war has just begun” and “You will pay the price” was found spray painted on a burnt mosque in the Palestinian village this morning. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it “an irresponsible act of lawlessness and intolerance,” and pledged to “act swiftly to bring the culprits to justice.”
On Monday, Palestinian terrorists attacked an Israeli border fence construction site with a roadside bomb, an anti-tank missile and small arms fire, according to the IDF. Saeed Phashpashe, a father of four from Haifa, was killed, as were the three assailants. An al-Qaida-linked group calling itself “The Shura Council of Mujahideen in the Holy Land” claimed responsibility today for the attack.
In another attack, a rocket fired from Gaza exploded at Israel’s Hof Ashkelon regional council offices. Haaretz quoted an unnamed Israeli official as saying the Saturday attack was carried out at the behest of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood by Bedouin in the Sinai who had been supplied by Hamas.
The attacks on Israel didn’t get a State Department press release, but were mentioned on Nuland’s list in the daily press briefing Monday after the G-20 summit and Egyptian elections.
“Let me give you something now on Israel and the violence on the Sinai border. The United States condemns today’s attacks – deadly attacks, terrorist attacks – on civilians in Israel from the Sinai and all acts of terrorism in the strongest terms,” she said. “We extend our deepest condolences to the victims, their families, and loved ones. We remain concerned about the security situation in the Sinai Peninsula and call for restraint on all sides. More broadly, we encourage the Egyptian Government to find a lasting resolution to the issue of Sinai security.”

NOBODY wakes up Hildabeast at 3AM, and she’s still a little groggy even after her coffee and danish in the morning.
I fail to see why everybody keeps saying Hilary Clinton has done such a fine job as Secretary of State. All I’ve seen so far is the massive politicization of the State Department (just like the rest of the government agencies) in favor of totalitarians.
Don’t forget all the brilliant work she did to stop the flow of American guns into Mexico.
“More broadly, we encourage the Egyptian Government to find a lasting resolution to the issue of Sinai security.”
Sure they will. With the Muslim Brotherhood winning elections and the Army trying to hold on to power, you’ll be seeing more terrorist attacks from Egypt, not less. And lets not even talk about all the weapons that are probably being smuggled into Gaza from Egypt. Things are going to get worse, not better with Egypt, which only proves that Obama was an idiot for getting rid of Mubarak without having a new pro-western government ready to take over. Now you’ll have either a military dictatorship in Egypt or an Islamist state like Iran. When it comes to foreign policy, Clinton and Obama don’t have a clue.
Was it a Palestinian terrorists, Egyptain terrorists, or Gaza terorists? It was it the south. One of the Arab residents of my own city of Haifa.
And please note, Americans, we are finally building our border fence and rounding up illegal (economic) immigrants. Just suggesting…
Sorry, I meant the VICTIM was one of the Arab residents of my own city of Haifa. If Jews and Arabs live in peace and (more or less) harmony anywhere in the Middle East, it is up here in northern Israel. What their representatives in our Parliament say is another matter.
Press releases from the State Department are starting to look like BBC. I want to encourage the elitist Jews in New York and Los Angeles to continue to donate in large chunks to the Obama campaign. He’s doing such a good job. MSM is stating how well received his new stance on illegal immigrants is. 800,000 new to the unemployed roster, that’s great! If any on the above mentioned elitist Jews have a kid who is trying to get into a good university, now they will have to deal with more competition that will be classified minority, granted preference in acceptance to these institutions, and given all kinds of financial aid. UCLA, white or Asian, need to have a 4.3 grade average for acceptance. Minorities are accepted with a 2.8. Keep in mind that Moslems coming from Moslem countries are given refugee status and then minority status.
Why no strident condemnation of the average of fifty rocket attacks on Israel every month since the beginning of 2012?

The real irony is that the guy who was killed was an Israeli Arab. He was a father of four, and very well liked. His family has been there since before Israel so he is a real ‘Palestinian’. Israel press is saying all kinds of nice things about him.
Yet not a word from the Arab press, PA or Arab governments.
Because the State Department is overrun with advocates and devotees of the Muslim Brotherhood. Thanks Hillary. We shall cause you to remember this next time you decide to run for President.
