If by “nobody” our president really means “billions and billions of people,” then he might be onto something. If he means this as he said it, then he’s either dishonest or the most naive man who ever lived anywhere in the history of humanity.
Speaking Thursday afternoon in Newton, Iowa, President Barack Obama pitched his idea for $5 billion in new tax credits for manufacturers that make equipment—such as windmill blades and solar panels—for “clean energy” companies.
“Nobody wants a handout,” Obama said. “Nobody wants to get something for nothing.”
Our POTUS is becoming a bit of a Hegelian. Hegel in the Science of Logic equated everything with nothing. Our POTUS thinks that giving handouts is the equivalent of giving somebody nothing.
Is that the same Nobody who almost beat him in Kentucky?
But are these manufacturers, the ones who make turbines and solar panels, located in China???

Yep, that makes more sense.

A tax credit for “green energy” companies that ultimately go bankrupt? That is something nobody wants, ‘cept his cronies, that is.

What does this mean? Obama thinks he can tell any lie, no matter how outrageous, and people will vote for him. And after a decades-long affirmative action career, culminating in a presidency gained through a vote-for-the-obvious-fraud-because-he’s-black-and-he’ll-give-you-free-stuff campaign, well, he has good reason to think so.
This man is a fool. Every person on this planet wants ‘Something for Nothing’. That is why socialism and communism have not and cannot work.
Only 98% of his constituents.
Most left/liberal Democratic supporters disprove that.
Wanna bet that those tax credits will be transferrable in bankruptcy?
Honest to God this man is an insufferable ass. His entire life has been about getting people on the government dole.
Hell, sign me up for plenty of something for nothing. After all, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Here’s a fixed version:
“I know everybody wants free stuff, but I have to act as if the freeloaders content to live off the sweat and work of other Americans are noble, so I’ll say they don’t really want free stuff so they’ll feel good about voting for me to give them more free stuff.”
“Nobody wants something for nothing?” That is as funny as it gets from the spouse of the ever vacationing Michelle.
