Istria Cafe is a small business in Chicago, one of the most over-regulated cities in America. PJTV’s Alexis Garcia interviews the Pribaz brothers, the owners of Istria Cafe, to show you how regulations are destroying businesses and jobs. Would you believe that it is almost impossible to run a business in Chicago without violating rules and regulations, and paying extraordinary fines? From utilities, to health care Alexis Garcia tells you why some businesses might not survive in the down economy.

This is America. Land of the free and home of the brave.
Be brave and exercise your freedom.
Move the F’ out of Chicago to Texas and start your business. And leave those Chicago values behind.
It’s all about the Machine getting its cut, doncha know.
The various codes and regulations in Chicago are there for one and only one purpose and that is to provide opportunities for graft. Period. Full stop.
The fact that the City of Chicago tore up the sidewalk and then sent an inspector to fine them for not having their chairs in the construction site was not a coincidence. These brothers seem like nice guys but there is absolutely no way that they will survive in business in Chicago unless they find somebody who is connected and start paying him off.
Obama articulated the Chicago philosophy of governance as “reward your friends and punish your enemies”. After appearing in this video, these brothers have graduated from sheep to be sheared to enemies to be destroyed. That will cost them extra if they can find the right guy to pay off.
One of the silver linings to the Obama Presidency is that he has brought publicity to the corrupt system of graft, harassment and payoffs that is Chicago government.
