Christian Adams has the arrest order at Rule of Law, Stacy McCain has some of the details at his blog.
Aaron Walker, whose complaint against convicted terrorist Brett Kimberlin became a conservative cause célèbrethis past week, was reportedly taken into custody today after a court hearing in Rockville, Maryland.
One person who attended the hearing in Montgomery County District Court said that Kimberlin asserted that Walker’s continued blogging represented a violation of a “peace order” Kimberlin had obtained against the Virginia attorney, who says Kimberlin tried to “frame” him for assault earlier this year.
During the course of the hearing — which reportedly lasted about an hour — Judge C.J. Vaughey appeared to become increasingly hostile toward Walker, who was taken into custody when the hearing concluded.
Update: From the order–

Huh?
Update: Here is an eye witness account of the hearing. Walker seems to have been cited for contempt, for interrupting the judge a time or two too often. It sounds like Judge Vaughey doesn’t understand the Internet or Google alerts well enough to be able to have an informed opinion of Kimberlin’s allegations of harassment. We should learn more about all this in a couple of hours, according to Ali Akbar of the National Bloggers Club.
Update: “Severed”?
Update: Hmmmm.
Case No 5D00279004
Warrant issued on May 27,2012 for Failure To Obey a Peace Order
Pretty clear what happened. Kimberlin knows how these things work. Filing a complaint for violation of a peace order cause a warrant to be issued with virtually no review, a rubber stamp process. Kimberlin apparently initiated that process to get a warrant issued at the last minute, so no one would know. No doubt he informed the sheriff that Walker would be in court.
Walker’s detention will be reviewed shortly by a commissioner. He should be released thereafter, assuming the commissioner in not another retired dementia case sitting for a competent person.

Glad the ACLU is on the case protecting Mr. Walker’s right to free speech.
And the Devil’s complaining of an unseasonable frost, too.
The final peace order names “Worthing”, not “Walker.”
They’re the same guy. One is his blog name.
Thanks for the clarification. Also, I actually had it backwards. Twice.
The court document lists “Aaron Walker”.
And it is Mr Christian Adam’s blog post that lists “Arron Worthing” but links to the court document showing the name “Aaron Walker.”
Geesh. Enough already. I didn’t use the person’s actual name because a lawsuit was designed to “out” the real name of the person. Some editor wanna-bees around here!!
Wait, what the hell? I thought that arrest order was just sarcasm / a photoshop – you can’t seriously be claiming that a judge signed off on an order that prohibits someone from being ANYWHERE…
I especially love the prohibition on electronic contact, when Kimberlin has complained that Google alerts — which he asked for and configured — count as harassment.
Could such an order have been used against The Root and other “black culture” websites for stirring up animosity against Zimmerman?
Or maybe just the entire Dem Party everyday for the last 10 years.
Unbe-frigging-lievable!
Blogs threatening death? Are you kidding me? The ones who have been victimized by threats are Aaron and other bloggers, not this Kimberlin psychopath!
I think the judge is referring to a few unhinged commentors on those blogs and imputing their bad motives to the blog host himself. Someone, several years ago, referred to this as “nutpicking”.
This should not be that surprising to anyone, you take politically correct bad law throw in judges who all they hear is the magic words “I am afraid” you get instant injustice. The whole system of PFA’s is weighted in favor of the “victim” and was done so with the emotional plea of saving women from abuse, well bad law begets bad outcomes.
Re: the tweet threatening that the rest of the “conspirators” will be “severed” soon. I take this as a threat to my life, and will react appropriately. I recommend everyone else do so as well.
Jail the Kossacks!
It would appear from the eyewitness account that attorney Walker had a fool for a client. I know the urge to defend one’s self must be strong among lawyers, but how many have to shoot themselves in the foot before the rest swear off.
Isn’t it a bit of a leap to assume he can afford a good lawyer right now, he and his wife lost their jobs out of this mess after all, especially one who’s willing to become the next target?
FYI: Judge CORNELIUS J. VAUGHEY was appointed by a Democrat. In Maryland, Governor’s appoint judges, he was appointed in 1992, the Governor was Democrat William Donald Schaefer.
