EPA Official Admits Regs Will Increase Energy Costs for Consumers

The House Energy Committee’s subcomittee on Energy and Power got a frank admission from an EPA official this week that that agency regulations will cause rate increases for energy consumers.

When pressed by Rep. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) for further explanation, EPA Assistant Administrator for the Office of Air and Radiation Gina McCarthy responded, “I do not live in the energy world.”
