On Fox today, Democrat strategist Jehmu Greene: “How can anyone be against violence against women?”
So…you’re in favor of violence against women? Noted.
That’s a direct quote Green spoke during a segment about the Democrats’ phony “war on women” schtick. Green was on the segment to back up Sen. Barbara Boxer’s claim that one must vote for Obama if they’re a “self-respecting human being.” Boxer’s exact, intolerant and demagogic words:
“I got to say to the women out there, whether you’re a Republican, a Democrat or Independent, if you’re a self-respecting human being, please vote for President Obama. And for the men who care about women, do the same thing.”
They’re not even trying to make any sense or defend Obama’s record at all anymore. And it’s only April.

There are people who will tell you that it’s the truth, and a damn fine reason to vote for Obama.
Among many other things, they think Rick Santorum promised to ban contraception if he were elected.
Yeah. The river of purposeful misinformation is at the flood stage.
My 84 year old Democrat mother-in-law might buy that argument… if she weren’t a Catholic and already honked off at Obama for his war on religion.
Bryan – There’s an old saying about the law that goes something like this: If you got the facts, yell the facts, if you got the law, yet the law, and if you got nothing, yell. The Democrats are the yell stage with no plans for the future and no successes for the past. So they yell about dogs, they yell about women, they yell about Rush, they yell about Bush, but they yell nothing about they’ve done or will do.
– did you ask Stu?
The saying is -”If the facts are on your side, you argue the facts. If the law is on your side, you argue the law. If neither is on your side, you pound the table”…expect a lot of pounding.
With Democrats/Progressives/Socialists (or whatever they are calling themselves these days), they point fingers, make fun, call names and just generally try to get conservatives on the defensive because they KNOW if they try to have an ADULT discussion, they will lose. The FACTS are NEVER on their side.
But then I’d have to chose between my wife and my old hound dog “Blue” (Blue ain’t to happy with the latest revelation about Obama’s eating habits).
It’s official then. I have no self-respect. And Greene and Boxer are idiots.
Just another example of the “how can you vote against your own interests?” routine. If those bozos had any idea of my interests, they wouldn’t talk to me that way. But if they got in power, they’d probably try to jail me.
I always vote against my own interests, if “my own interests” is defined as as “government giving me free stuff and doing social engineering on my behalf.”
Yes, but YOUR interests are not “Living out of someone else’s wallet”.
A View From Canada:
Having spent my life as a Conservative in Canada I can totally relate to the lefties (our Liberals and Socialists and your Democrats) staking out the low ground and let me tell you your current crop of Democrats infecting the political spectrum in the good old USA today are reaching even newer lows.
In both of our countries the rallying cry is the same and the attempt to demonize Conservatives are parallel in effort. The problem is the more they attempt to smear us the more their own bigotry and intolerance for free expression and differing opinions shows through.
“They’re not even trying to make any sense or defend Obama’s record at all anymore. ”
As an anecdote I will relate a debate on University radio that occurred during a recent Federal election campaign, Reg Alcock, a senior Liberal cabinet minister was embroiled in a heated discussion with upstart Conservative candidate Rod Bruinooge when Mr. Bruinooge challenged Alcock to defend his Liberal government’s record Alcock replied “An election campaign is no time to run on your record”
Hmmm… enough said I think.
BTW Alcock lost the election, so I guess there is hope after all.
And yet I predict 90+% of blacks will vote for BO and 80+% of progressives. For blacks, it’s all about race all the time. For progressives, he supports all the right causes.
Romney has to take the independents in large numbers to win.
