Todd Westby is a small business owner, husband and dad in Omaha, Nebraska. In this video he shares the struggles he faces as a small business owner when it comes to running his business, from keeping the lights on to getting his products to his customers.
Recent EPA regulations like Utility MACT and the new proposed GHG standards will make power prices more volatile. The new GHG standards will effectively prevent coal plants being built down the road, while Utility MACT will force plants to either close or upgrade — both of which will see these costs shifted back on to the consumer. This is essentially the ‘cap’ part of a backdoor cap and trade program. Coal usage is becoming prohibitively expensive and that will affect small businesses who need low overhead. And it’s all part of the president’s plans:

Worth watching both clips just to see the contrast between the small business owner (engaged, concerned, motivated) and Obama (disconnected in every sense).
