If you’re a Pat Condell acolyte, you won’t want to miss this one.
And if you’ve never viewed a Condell monologue before, strap yourself in and be prepared for conversion experience.
The topic this time around? Israel, the UN, Arab anti-Semitism, and Western liberal appeasement:
Oh, the pain, the pain, the pain.
(For the uninitiated, Pat Condell is a British atheist comedian and political monologuist. For years, through sheer verbal wizardry, he has completely destroyed the ideological underpinnings of most liberal thought. This latest salvo is just the most recent of a continuous intellectual barrage humiliating the left for the last several years.)

@ 2:49/2:50 is the cat out of the bag when obama spoke of the 57 states? are these the states he is referring to?
nice vid
Bravo!
Condell was a long time coming to this point; as an atheist of the angry variety, he has in the past expressed venom for Christianity only slightly less vehemently than he expressed his antipathy towards Muslims and Islam. Jews and Israel, as the constant target of Muslims, elicited his sympathy, but—due to his dislike of religion—in inverse proportion to the amount they practiced Judaism. In short, he was sympathetic to Israel as a Muslim target, but in a video a couple or three years ago could not understand for the life of him why (some) Israelis set store upon retaining a united Jerusalem, controlling the Temple Mount, wanting to settle Judea and Samaria.
Too, Condell tended to think in the terms of “human rights,” and use “human rights” language—something he has lately begun to swerve away from. It is understandable that he would do this; rights in Europe are usually thought of in terms of “human rights,” dispensations granted by the government, instead of being a legal means of restricting the government to protect the liberty that is every person’s birthright.
With this video—and his other videos of late—Condell seems to have taken a welcome quantum leap over to the position of understanding that “human rights” are antithetical to liberty, and that those who speak most smoothly of “human rights” are in fact liberty’s greatest foes.
I think his last overtly anti-Judaism rant was more than 4 years ago. He is evolving and wising up, and has been on this trajectory for quite some time.
He got a lot of guff for a couple of somewhat misinformed anti-Irsael opinions at the start of his YouTube career, back when he still had some lingering leftism, but I think he cured himself of that quite some time ago. We’re all foolish when we’re “young” (58-ish in his case). Heck, just recently I myself saw something I wrote in 1999 and was utterly ashamed — mocking Republicans, etc. I had no idea what I was talking about, and thought it was just self-evidently cool to prance around like a smug progressive.
Ah, youth. Thank God that’s over.
Condell also long ago expressed frustration that Israel wouldn’t accept that Jerusalem was an “Arab city”. Thankfully, he’s abandoned such nonsense. It’s too bad our own President hasn’t, evidenced by the new US Consulate building in Jerusalem – functioning as the de facto embassy to Palestine – on land set aside for the US Embassy in Jerusalem in the *western* (Jewish) part of the city.
“Countries that belong on the high moral ground the way a rattlesnake belongs in a lunchbox…”
Excellent.
Right on!
Perfect. We do need to kick out the UN and maybe start a new organization called United Democracies (fascist buggers need not apply).
The power of plain speaking!
This line bears repeating over and over
Saudi Arabia is the moral anus of the world.
I am at work so you can only imagine how hard I had to work to stifle the loud braying, helpless with with glee laughter that comment so rightfully deserved because it is so true and so perfectly expressed.
An. Absolute. Condell. Classic.
Excuse me, I miquoted Mr. Condell.
Saudia Arabia is the absolute moral anus of the universe.
Even better.
Be assured, Mr. Condell, many Americans, perhaps even a majority, are as baffled as you are why we continue to host the UN on American soil and give them billions of dollars every year.
The U.N is really a metaphor for everything that is wrong with the world – the Nietzschean “devaluation of all values,” truth, decency and morality under the guise of”diversity” “peace” and “progress” leaving one with nothing more than the legitimization of power- hate, brutality, ignorance and genocide.
