I wrote in an earlier post that the White House would claim that the Hilary Rosen who appears 35 times on their visitor logs was someone else, and then deleted that because it seemed too absurd. Surely they wouldn’t try the “Bill Ayers is a different Bill Ayers” and “Malik Shabazz is a different Malik Shabazz” trick again, right?
Wrong. Jay Carney went there the first chance he got.
Jay Carney knows three Hilary Rosens? Then let’s have him produce them and prove it.
Update: For some reason, Carney’s multiple Hilary’s defense reminded me of this.

Well, Hillary is a Democrat strategist, a CNN contributor, and a lesbian single mom. Isn’t that three different identities? You can count on Carney always telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Wow. And I’ll bet they all spell “Hilary” with one L too.

What truly amazes is the uncanny ability of this administration to assemble such a consistent team of shameless and unhesitating fabricators.
It is a gift of the ONE. But he is after all merely the figurehead of a legion of liars.
Other groups have demonstrated long commitment to cultivating outstanding qualities among their members. The courage and self-sacrifice of, say, the United States Marine Corps, SEALS, Rangers, Recon teams, Green Berets, and many municipal fire and police departments spring readily to mind.
Three years of watching the lies, distortions, bumbling attempts to cheat and make ridiculous excuses when observed and discovered, the insults, sneering contempt, and un-disguised hostility to every value I hold dear… all tell me I would be wiser to put my fate in the hands of any Cub Scout pack rather than in this administration of perverts.
I think Jay is setting the stage for “The Three Faces of Eve” defense. Imagine his surprise when he finds out that the three women he knows are actually the same person!
Like Obama, we are dealing with people at the White House who are so used to getting away with lies, they cannot help themselves.
