For Senate Republicans, today is a day to strike out against ObamaCare on its two-year anniversary. For one Senate Democrat, it’s a day to bring up the contraception controversy again.
Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) released a video accusing Republicans of trying to turn back the clock on women’s health while Democrats are busy fixing the economy. It focuses on — and urges abandonment of — the pledge House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) made to keep fighting the HHS mandate for contraception to be provided free of co-payments.
All 12 Democratic women senators wrote Boehner earlier in the month, saying “women have had enough” and asking him to abandon his pledge.
Murray has also enlisted groups such as NARAL and Planned Parenthood to push the #DropThePledge hashtag on Twitter.

Hey NARAL and Planned Parenthood: Up yours! You are the enemy, and we will treat you as such. We need no more reason to oppose this mandate than the fact that you endorse it. We are committed to abolishing all government funding of you, and blacklisting you from any programs, even if it means singling you out to do so.
Since Roe V Wade essentially made law by activist judicial fiat, there have been an estimated 54,500,000 abortions in the United States.
That puts Planned Parenthood, and apparently the Democratic Senator from Washington who loudly endorses this program of eugenic murder, in the company of Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, and Adolf Hitler in the 50 million club.

Patty Murray has been playing this game since it first became a strategy for the Democrats. It’s a pity we don’t have a free press in this country, so they could point out the deception the Democrats are conducting in this campaign. Alas, our free press thinks it’s more appropriate to join in and promote the lie. Just think, veterans die to protect the right of our press to keep our politicians honest. There are many who aren’t worth of that.
