Would Nicolas Sarkozy Apologize to Rampaging, Rioting Muslims?

While America’s president apologizes to Muslims who have killed half a dozen American troops over nothing, the French president has rejected halal meats in his nation’s schools, declaring that France should remain French.

The issue of France’s Muslims moved front and center into the presidential campaign with President Nicolas Sarkozy excluding any special indulgences for halal meat.

Sarkozy insisted at a Bordeaux campaign rally Saturday that French civilization must prevail in France. He said there’s no place for xenophobia or racism.

Cultural confidence. Wouldn’t it be nice if the American president had a little of that?
