There is so much to consider in this video of Andrew Breitbart’s one-man attack on the destructive nihilistic Occupy protesters at CPAC.
The most noteworthy part is the reactionary mob response from the Occupy crowd: “Racist, sexist, anti-gay, right wing bigots go away.” They just can’t help themselves. They cannot help but attribute any opposition to racism and bigotry. The Occupy crowd in California calls Brietbart gay, and the DC version calls him anti-gay. Such is the fungibility of Leftist slurs.
Notice also the audio of Happening Girl at the end, seemingly oblivious to the rapes at Occupy events to which Andrew refers. “I never raped anyone,” Hipster Happening Girl complains.
Leftist blogs are accusing Breitbart of being drunk. I doubt it. This was one man, sick of the mob, and ready to tell them something they probably never heard from their parents, namely to behave and bathe. But even if he was drinking, like Lincoln said of Grant, send the rest of the conservative movement a case of whatever it is Andrew drinks.

I don’t see either side looking good in this exchange. They made assumptions about Breitbart and Breitbart is making assumptions about them.
Dear Concern Troll,
Please go back to your home at Media Matters. Signed,
The Troll Police
I go where I please. You should grow up a little.
And I call you a jackass when I please. Get used to it.
She is a jackass. Well played sir.
Is this the kind of “discussion” you refer to below?
No Noob. Breitbart has the goods on those people and their movement.
What “goods” does he have? I just saw a bunch of yelling back and forth. When we see the “goods”, we can discuss them.
Your kind never want to discuss. you simply ‘occupy’. You’re little more than oxygen thieves. Suck………….Suck……………Suck…………
You claim you want to discuss, yet all you have done is call names.
Discuss.
okay, so what is the point of this? What exactly is it proving? Any crime that happens near where people are occupying is the occupiers fault? weak argument at best.
Noob, What exactly is it proving?”
LOL He is proving they are idiots. “Anarchists for bigger government!!” The Occupy motto!!!
“Any crime that happens near where people are occupying is the occupiers fault? ” they are if committed by occupiers. But then the argument is that they were not committed by ALL the occupiers. Or that the crime was committed by someone who lived, associated, protested with the occupiers, but wasn’t a “real” occupier. These rules are of course void if talking about a tea party rally. Then any crime committed by anyone located within a 500 mile radius, even if committed by someone with zero connect to the tea party is considered a tea party crime.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Please, do not feed the troll.
Saying both sides were yelling and that neither side looked good is trolling?
No, being a douchebag makes you a troll.
I would think name-calling makes someone a troll. I was merely asking a question.
Awwwww, He’s “just askin’”. Isn’t that precious. Try to keep up guy. The people here didn’t just log on yesterday.
No, you are earning the ‘troll’ sobriquet by trivializing and equivocating. Heroism exists in conflict, and conflict exists in heroism; both are true but only one would point at Diogenes and laugh, “Hey everybody, look at the silly lamp!”
Hmmm. Never thought I would see a b***ch slap in writing. Seemed to calm things right down. Nice job.
One side were “useful idiots” doing street theater for the Communist Party. The other side was a person who was asked to speak to that audience. I get that.
An alternative recommendation, if I may: feed them the truth and make ‘em like it.
Dearest Noobie, I am sure the peaceful, loving, tolerant Occupiers would love to sit down and have a civilized discussion with a “[r]acist, sexist, anti-gay, right wing bigot . . . .” Stuck on stupid is no way to go through life. But, then again, you go anywhere you want.
And I am sure he wasn’t calling names as well. Unless you count him calling them rapists, thieves, bums, and everything else under the sun. But you know, just stick to whatever suits your ideology and ignore the rest.
Breibart was only quoting the police reports.
Noob.
The difference is that Briebarts charges are largely true. Have you any idea of the number of arrests, rapes, assaults, theivery, property damage, health hazards like lice and rats, and other mayham that has occured at OWS rallies. And we are talking about perpetrators that were actually living in the OWS tents, and were a part of the OWS protestors, not just some random crime that occured nearby. I will assume the best for now, that you were an honest guy asking questions. But if you do not agree with this very simple and honest point, then you have revealed yourself as a media matters or move on troll.
Noob456
What? That they are dirty, unwashed, marxist scum? And Breitbart is a good upstanding American?
If I hear “Hey hey ho ho” one more time….geez, how about some originality?
Expecting originality out of a protest crowd is asking for a bit much.
“What do you want?”
“MORE FREE STUFF!!”
“When do you want it?”
“NOW!!”
Tell you aren’t one; you have the meter wrong. It should be:
Whadda’ we want/
FREE STUFF!
When do we want it/
NOW!
You can freely substitute:
FREEDOM
FAIRNESS
FAIR PAY
NO WAR
CLEAN AIR
Pick your cause, one rhyme fits all, and its the only one they know other than:
Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho,
Pick something with three syllables
Has got to go!
They can usually master that one with a little practice too.
^
should sticky this
Seems to me that the “Hey hey Ho ho” chant dates back to the late 1960′s when the rhyme was used in Viet Nam war protest gatherings.
Nothing new since in the CPA workbook? Get the “useful idiot” dupes charged up with sex, drugs and free food, and they’ll abandon Mom and Dad’s basement to live on the streets for a while cheerfully… They don’t even agree on what they want. They bought useless degrees, on someone else’ dime, and now find that they have been duped once again. Sheeple of the finest pedigree just like back in the day. Most ‘protesters’ back then were into it for the chicks, drugs and free sex, if you want to know the truth. They all had deferments, being collitch students …

What an a hero, to represent the majority like Brietbart did, he will be sorrowly missed. Fortunately there is a whole army of us out here that have been trained and inspired by Breitbarts ” expose the perversity of Liberals” tactics. Breitbart has multiplied, multiplied!!!. It should be utterly obvious by the sinking polls on every Liberal ideology that the time of the Liberal minority getting a say over the conservative majority is drawing to a close. Andrew is right, I was standing with two homeless people in Victoria b.c. watching the occupy Victoria movement and the homeless people said of the protesters, ” if they are so frustrated with not having any money, why don’t they get a job instead of hanging around the square week after week. Well if that doesn’t put things into perspective. This is the reality, these are the most lazy, scummy, ungreatful, loudmouthed, uncontributing, amoral, disguisting, arrogant group of people that can be found. An extreme liberal minority who we all know wouldn’t hesitate one secone to reelect Barak Obama, their just trying to counter the fantastic success of the conservative tea party grass roots. But unfortunately, tea party patriots unlike occupiers are actually smart, hard working, moral and WELL BEHAVED, not to mention they and not the occupy protesters actually ARE the MAJORITY!! AB rest in peace, you will be welcomed by God in heaven because it was God’s voice through you that we so often got to hear.
Hey hey, ho ho, the Marxist scum have got to go…….
Why isn’t Breitbart running for President??? He fits Gov Palin’s prescription for success: deeply-held conservative convictions and a willingness to fight for them, without the baggage that Gingrich and Santorum bring along.
He could hire Mittens as Sec/Commerce, Ron Paul as Sec/Treasury, Santorum as Vice President, Gingrich as Idea Man, Amb. Bolton as Sec/State…
I like it. It would save the world.
Breitbart is working with Citizens United on a new film called ‘Occupy Unmasked’. David Bossie, Steve Bannon and Breitbart held a special event for bloggers at CPAC to unveil the trailer and talk about it.
They are going all in on confronting Occupy, which is nothing more than the resurrection of ACORN and the puppetmaster of this movement is the President of the United States.
You can go over to my blog to see the trailer and Breitbart discuss the film. He starts off by saying, I HATE THOSE BASTARDS.
“You can go over to my blog to see the trailer and Breitbart discuss the film. He starts off by saying, I HATE THOSE BASTARDS.”
+10
I want to come down strongly on Leonies side here.
This was exactly the kind of talk we are all wanting to hear from the candidates.
What we are getting is the exact opposite.
Breitbart / Palin 2012 !
Palin / Breitbart 2012
I’m in!
Yeah, I’m good with that too ….
Palin / Breitbart 2012 !
Breitbart / Retracto 2012!
“destructive nihilistic Occupy protesters”- what an exact definition. I also have doubts that he was drunk and that guy is not a psycho.
Has anyone considered just paying them more to leave? I realize they’re fun watch. Reminds of people watching on the Pearl Street mall.
Some of us know where the Peoples Republic of Boulder is.
Paper your discussion, wall-to-wall, with facts. With every “is” statement, demand proof. When their tantrums begin, get a camera and/or microphone to record it. Then walk away.
NEVER waste time and energy debating with
ignorance,
neurosis
or
belief.
Re: armed with facts, watch or listen to Scott Walker’s CPAC speech.
How many people are willing to go out there, alone, and face down the Occupests?
Go, Andrew!
– better their digits on a keyboard rather than finger-fugging children.
We can’t spare this man.
He fights.
“We can’t spare this man.
He fights.”
Very, very good….Mr Lincoln…
Anyone can beat Obama. “Anyone may work for you but I need SOMEONE…”
Thank you for that link to a President Grant biography. Interesting that site states “The myths of “Grant the drunk” and “Grant the butcher”, still persist, even today. It is also worth noting that the reputation Grant suffered as both an “alcoholic” and a “butcher” seem to have been ideas vigarously promoted and promulgated by southern historians who had a vendetta, or historians sympathetic to the southern cause, in the years after the war.”
So it isn’t if you win or lose, but how the story is told later. Robert E. Lee was a traitor who deserved to be hung, but ….
Grant may or may not have been a “drunk”….but contemporary accounts of his drinking problem certainly qualifies him as a binge drinker. His chief of staff was his baby-sitter in that respect….
It may or may not be unfair to label Grant as a “butcher” but, as evidenced by his Wilderness Campaign in 1864, he certainly was prepared to play Lincoln’s “deadly arithmetic”……where within one month, the Army of the Potomac lost more men in battle than Lee had in his whole army….Federal replacements arrived on the field daily while every man the south lost by that time was gone for good……
Lee was most certainly a traitor…just as were Washington, Jefferson, Adams, et al……he deserved to be hung, I guess…..can you imagine the blowback on the occupying Federal troops throughout the south had they hung Lee?
Whatever drinking problem Grant may or may not have had, was more than made up for by his huge ability as a commander. And yes he took heavy casualties taking on Lee, but as you yourself admitted, those tactics slowly ground Lee’s army to powder, while the more conservative tactics of his predecessors against Lee allowed Lee to win victories. More significanty though, were his outstanding victories in the western theatre, where his casualties were not significantly greater than his foes, and he ran rings around the southern generals facing him in decisive victories like Henry and Donelson, Vicksburg, and Chatenooga. Lee got all the early press in the Potomic theatre, even though his victories mainly just made headlines without any lasting alteration in the war. But it was Grants decisive victories in the west that cut the confederacy into pieces and won the war.
“Stop raping people! Stop raping THE people!”
Brietbart rocks.
I hope that there would be “a million Mogadishus” in this war. The only true heroes are those who find ways that help defeat the U.S. military. If we really believe that this war is criminal … then we have to believe in the victory of the Iraqi people and the defeat of the U.S. war machine. ~ Columbia University professor Nicholas De Genova
What I think of when I see an OWS rally…
…and a dream of a million boots up the collective asses of the moral obscenity called OWS. ~ Tex Taylor
Hooray for Andrew Breitbart!
As much as I agree with everything Breitbart says to and about those people, I got the sense in that video that he is letting his anger at them get the best of him. Don’t do it, Andrew. We need your sanity and your voice in this fight.
Although, “behave yourselves” is a darn good chant to throw back at the mindless Occupidiots.
The Obituary of the U.S.A.
In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinborough, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: “A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote
themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.
From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.”
“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years.
During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.”
The Obituary follows: Born 1776, Died 2012.
It doesn’t hurt to read this several times. Beware of politicians who want to give the masses who don’t want to work–and are living off various forms of government welfare free handouts.
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, believes the United States is now somewhere between the “complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached the “governmental dependency” phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals–and they vote–then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.
Remember, too, that “apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.”
Please be sure to pass this message on to everyone in your address book.
As Dietrich Bonhoeffer from Germany in Hitler’s time said, “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”
Well, I guess this just sums everything up. Eh, Kalev?
I like Breitbart and have defended him on many occasions. And I know that the Occupy camps are full of smelly people yelling ignorant things, and that all kinds of disturbing behavior has gone on. I understand that he is, as it were, trolling the trolls.
But I don’t think this kind of thing is really helpful if we want to make other people (other than the Occupiers, who are hopeless) understand that the Occupiers are the lunatics.
I think Andrew Breitbart needs a more powerful PA system, so he can drqwn those bums out.
You tell them Reverend Andy. Heck if Sharpton can do it…
GOP leaders, learn from Breitbart. You’ll have our support.
On a side note, Breitbart is EXACTLY what this country needs. He energizes–a modern day patriot philosopher with a gnarly edge. Heroic to me and I look up to very few.
– the trolls into our bar.
I greatly admire Breibarts fighting spirit, but I dont see him as a president. Even a great general like Grant did not make that great of a president. Good presidents cant just be somebody that knows how to fire up the base, and put down the opposition. They also have to run things, and occasionally even have to reach across to the other side and get things done. Remember that even the president most of us love most, Reagan, made deals sometimes, both with the dems, and the Russians.
Aww. Bloatbart’s multiple chins quiver so adorably when he’s worked up.
