With Leon Panetta recently announcing to Iran the three month window for Israel to assist them in being appropriate as a member of the world community, then going mum, it reminded me of a game that Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn played, called mumbly peg.
The game is essentially the precursor to jackass, you throw a knife as close to your foot as possible, until one of you throws it into your foot and you win.
It is usually played with two players testing their mettle. The Obama administration, however, has Israel playing the game alone.
Every time Bibi hurls the knife closer to Israel’s foot, Obama and his henchmen say it’s not close enough.
Caroline Glick meticulously outlines each toss of the knife at Obama’s insistence in her essay titled, “Fool Me Twice” at Townhall.
Rashid Khalidi’s favorite dinner partner (what WAS on that tape that the LA Times is holding hostage), will not be satisfied until Israel has thrown the knife into its own foot and perhaps even chopped off a couple of toes.
That’s one way to “win” the game.
The other, is for Israel to stop playing.
Iran will not use a bomb on Israel.
Remember, Muslims consider Israel to be their land. That is what all the fuss is about. Israel cannot win a long war. They know that and built their defence strategy arounf that fact. The IDF can hold out against all comers for about 2 weeks. In ’73 it was the shipment of US weapons and munitions that allowed Israel to survive. All the battles of the Arab-Israeli war have been stopped by the UN. At the direction of the USA. The Mad Dog Mullahs know this and understand if they take the USA out of play, they can overrun Israel in a few months.
The USA can be taken out politically or diplomatically with less cost then a military knockout. Then they can save their nukes to offset the Israeli nukes.
Offer Israel the choice of Dhemmi or death.
Muslims think ALL Westerners fear death. That is their big mistake. Westerners don’t realize that Muslims don’t see death under the same terms as westerners.

It’s no real surprise to me that Obama wants Bibi to throw the knife into Israel’s foot. He’s been one of the most anti-Israel Presidents in recent memory, perhaps even worse than ol’ Jimmy Carter, though that’s a tough call.
The question in my mind is how long Bibi will play the game before he decides to attack Iran’s nuke facilities.
