No, the Democrats aren’t obsessed with race. They just make every last single flippin’ thing about race, every time they have the opportunity. The lastest: Virginia’s lightweight Rep. Jim Moran.
Moran told host Martin Bashir that West and Arizona governor Jan Brewer reminded him of the hyenas from The Lion King.
“People like Mr. West,” Moran told Bashir, “and Governor Brewer, and so on — particularly Mr. West — is not only not representative of the African-American community or of the Republican Party, let alone of the American public. So what he says really is of little or no consequence, but it’s unfortunate.”
Moran goes on to accuse West of selling out the race, by being a Republican and having a mind of his own.
He just seems clueless now that he has climbed aboard ship. He’s climbed this ladder of opportunity that was constructed by so many of his ancestors’ sweat, sacrifice, blood. You know, they did everything they could for his generation to be successful. But now that he’s climbed on board ship, instead of reaching down and steadying the ladder, he wants to push it off. You know, “I’m up here. If you’re not with me, too bad.”
Which is a pretty condescending and racist thing to say, actually. Distilled to its bare meaning, Moran’s comment amounts to “Allen West should sit down and shut up, or do what I say he should do, because he’s black.” We’re going to see a whole lot more of this Democratic racism as the year 2012 grinds on.

Bet he thinks that Bill Clinton, the first black president, who got a BJ and a damp cigar from a 21 year old employee in his office, lied to a federal court, wagged his finger (isn’t that racist?) and lied to the American public, signed the biggest welform reform act in history and was impeached by Congress represents blacks.

Oh, I don’t know. He might have a little of something in common with parts of all three groups, and hence be representative. That would be the veteran part–those who chose to serve their country instead of demanding it serve them. I understand there are a large number of Army vets in the black community. Perhaps they are not “representative” either. Given Mr. Moran’s past with vets, maybe he thinks West is “caustic” and should sit down or shut up.
Yep–to Jim Moran being in the Army from 1983 to 2004 is just being an ungrateful little SOB who doesn’t pay it forward. If only West could be a real hero, like the man who has had essentially nothing but political and civil service jobs since before he graduated college–Jim Moran.
You know what one difference between Jim Moran and Allen West is? When someone thought West improperly assaulted someone, it got looked into. The Alexandria city police were never quite allowed to do that when Moran was mayor.
At least West was trying to preserve American lives. Besides preserving his own ego, who knows what the blazes Moran was trying to do if he assaulted folks.

It is an ideological necessity for those whose wish is destroy American culture through division of the people into racial groups, each of which has its own culture to which all racial members must belong. The purpose of this is to create necessary racial division. It is the racial counterpart of class warfare. Blacks not loyal to the black “side” must be denounced.
Moran, and many others like him, may well be nothing more than useful fools, having had it drilled into them through countless subtle arguments springing from the “wonderfulness” of multicultural relativity and the “need” to defend the various cultures. Effectively, this makes the “American” culture, the bad guy, which is a desireable effect to anyone who wishes to destroy it.
I knew this article would be about a denunciation of Allen West as soon as I read the title.

I could make a snide comment about Jim Moran’s being from the state that hosted the capital of the Confederacy that started and executed a war of rebellion resulting in the death of 4% of all adult males in the States. But I won’t do that…
No, CR. Jim Moran isn’t a Virginian by birth.
He and his a$$hole brother are carpetbaggers from Massachusetts. They are gifts from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to the Commonwealth of Virginia.
His brother happens to be chairman of the Democratic Party of Virginia.
And they are from Arlington/Alexandria, not Virginia, which means that they are from DC, not Virginia. Many of us are ready to donate that part of VA back to Washington, DC and Jim Moran recently said something to the effect that he wants to be absorbed by DC.
I say, good riddance and it’s the only thing he’s said that I agree with. I would like to offer any help I can to make that happen.
Yeah, Moran has been one the most consistent a-holes in the Congress over the years. It always amazes me that he keeps getting re-elected in Northern Virginia, which used to be at least more reliably conservative than the liberal swmaplands across the Potomac, but I guess there’s enough of a concentration of Democrats to keep him in office. Still, just based on all the a-hole things he’s done over the years, you’d think they’d throw him out.
I am a constituent of Mr. Moran and I try my hardest to get him thrown out at every electoral opportunity. I have started asking voters, “why do you want that debauched old reprobate to represent you?”. He has bought a lot of votes garnering earmarks for the NEA. People in Fairfax really do have more money than sense; I can think of no other way to explain it.
I’ve lived in Fairfax County. It’s recession proof because of people like Moran. Democrats grow government and that means more jobs and higher home values from Columbia, MD to fredericksburg, VA. They don’t necassarily like Moran they just vote for more government.

It’s much worse than you think: I’ve been researching black culture websites and they are becoming virtually indistinguishable from malicious sites like Stormfront and David Duke. In fact the most prominent difference is that the black sites are owned by entities like the Washington Post and NBC/Universal and have mainstream ads by AT&T and hotel chains. They also have the participation of mainstream black celebrities and writers. By contrast, white versions of such sites have been marginalized into the swamps where they belong.
The Payback Machine is really feeling its oats and a sense of invulnerability when it comes to the most outrageous racism that amounts to nothing more than black people good and white people bad and the disdain and even hatred for white people is not expressed in any kind of “code”.
The worst sort of articles appear weekly and there is no need to dip into archives; this week you can find “Vanity Fair: Non-White Actresses Pushed Aside” with things like “It’s impossible to deny the pattern” and “We won’t get our hopes up.” I leave it to you to figure out who “we” is and the sea Eric Holder swims in that produces similar comments from him.
This week we also have “Black Professionals: We’ve Got Obama’s Back.” Once again the equivalent article in a conservative magazine speaking about Romney or McCain in ’08 would’ve produced howls from the Left.
A quote from that article, a different version of which originally appeared in the HuffPo, goes “Young black professionals gave a lot of money last time, checks none of them probably ever thought that they would write,” You don’t have to be a genius to figure out that is because they never thought they’d have a black guy to write checks for.
Another quote goes “On Tuesday night, Benjamin’s organization threw a watch party for the president’s State of The Union address at a Midtown Manhattan bar. A week or so earlier, he blasted the event to his network of thousands, tapped Osas Ighodaro, Miss Black USA 2010 to host, a couple of high-profile members of the Obama campaign, and built buzz by tweeting, using Facebook and teaming with Loop21, a popular African-American website for news and politics. There were drink specials, a DJ and flat-screen televisions.” This is not appealing to issues but to race which is itself the issue for such people. Who in America otherwise agrees on anything in politics to the tune of 96%?
Lastly there is this from that article: “And the fact that we have an African-American man that is president and an African-American wonderful first lady and two little black girls, it is the epitome of what you are striving for.” To which I add yes it is the epitome of what they are striving for, which is apparently to be a mirror image of white hate groups.
How about “Meet Our Future: 25 Young Black Innovators.” Change that to “white” and see how many friends you make on the Left.
Imagine if 96% of whites had voted for McCain: there would be no need for dog-whistles, conspiracy theories about Vanity Fair or talk of racial “code” being used and there is none in the black community as they don’t even make a secret of their racial advocacy while at the same time shouting down even a hint of such from whites.
If you want to talk about not being able to see the forest for the trees, look at the NCAA Image Awards whose sole criteria for inclusion is by race. This is so natural to that culture that they don’t even stop and think of it as anything wrong as they write articles about how “food stamp President” and “blah” are sure signs of white supremacy and advocacy. Try and imagine a white image award for all the cultural arts backed by the entirety of Hollywood and the press. That world doesn’t exist except in the minds of the black elite who pillory imagined white supremacists while wallowing in the very thing they pretend to despise. What they really despise is clearly white people. And what the NAACP insists on from the larger American community is something they refuse to do themselves.
If someone was smart enough to write a book about this phenomenon and publish it right now it would be devastating. Research would amount to little more than copy and paste since the quotes speak for themselves and are damning, indistinguishable from neo-Nazi sites if you just change the word “white” to “black.”
And I haven’t even gotten to the National Council of La Raza, “the race,” who claim when challenged that “La Raza” really means “the People.” Well, no; we in America say “We the people” not “We the Race” and in Spanish it could be “El Pueblo” or “La Gente” although in the end it would really amount to the same thing: racial advocacy. La Raza is too scared to change it at this point as it would be a sure sign people are right. Once again, this racial advocacy comes so naturally to such groups they don’t even think before they write. Again, La Raza has membership among prominent Latino celebrities and sponsorship from mainstream American companies.
Maybe the punk thuggish Rep. Moran, who once bullied an 8-year old kid for just looking at his car, can tell us whether he is acting as a true American, now that he has climbed on the top and sucked up all the benefits and wants to push everybody else back into the statist horror that our nation climbed out of.
