Lew Rockwell was on Fox Business with Judge Nap tonight. Rockwell claimed we live “in a police state.” He called Gingrich a “war mongering crookster.” Rockwell has always been displeased with the outcome of the Civil War and the ensuing Civil War Amendments to the Constitution. Just what Paul needs right now. Talk about unelectable.

Well, let’s see. Who’s jurisdiction does the average American live in? Code Enforcement, City Police, County Sheriff, State Highway Patrol, State Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Marshalls, FBI, ATF, TSA, ICE, Department of Education SWAT Team, Secret Service. And then there are the PC Police who make sure we don’t use the ‘N word’ or burn Korans, or criticize homosexuals, by thrashing us in the media or banning us from it, when we do give offense to the politically protected. So, tell us Christian, what do you define as a police state? It seems to me that Rockwell’s “we live in police state” is not all that ludicrous, unflattering perhaps.
What police state allows the formation of opposition parties and an armed populace. We are not as free as I wouldlike but liberty under the law is alive in America andcthe two greatest threats to us are an Obama second term and a Paul first term

And proxy servers won’t save you. After all, the proxy server has to know where to deliver the data to… and that’s right where you are. Even if you stack proxy servers (having server A deliver the data to server B who then delivers it to server C) doesn’t help, because the server at the end of the line still has to know where you are in order for you to get the data… and that sort of stacking really slows down the throughput too.

And this article gets it exactly bass ackwards. Paul is the only GOP candidate right now who’s actually come out ahead in the PPP nationwide poll when pitted against Obama. NEITHER Gingrich NOR Romney has ever been shown to have a clear wide lead beyond the margin of error over Obama. If any of you Paul haters have the poll that says otherwise, feel free to link to it. It’s very telling that the author of this PJM Paul hit piece cannot bother to cite anything to back his assertion that Paul would lose (in the general lots of Democrats and independents could cross over and vote Republican, and despite what you may have heard, there’s plenty of that going on in Iowa too).

I understand Paul gets tarred and feathered due to some of the people supporting him saying extreme things. But let’s get our facts straight. Ronald Reagan was endorsed by the John Birch Society, but he never endorsed them and was asked about it many times when running for Governor of California during the 1960s. Nobody outside the hardcore Obama koolaid drinkers at MSNBC is going to give a hoot about some pamphlets that don’t have Ron’s name on them that were published twenty five years ago that he may or may not have actually reviewed.
Paul has never said anything anti-Semitic, in fact he’s said Israel would do better without our taxpayer money and the Administration’s strings that come with it. He is in line with the slight majority of Israeli public opinion that opposes a military strike on Iran and this is his trump card when confronted with the Bachmanns of this world who want to be more hawkish on Israel than the Israelis. Paul’s response to the 9/11 truther’s question is NOT an admission of being a truther — I didn’t hear him say our own government killed our people, did you? Hell no, you make this inference up. And if you define every American who thinks our government hasn’t told us the full (Saudi, Pakistani) story as a truther and truthers as terrorists, then a majority of Americans are terrorists — including those who think there was a conspiracy to kill JFK. And at that point you people are no better than Big Sis Janet Napolitano.
No the sneering, contempt, and hysteria is nearly all on the anti-Paul commenters side here at PJM. Any fair minded person can see that. And the reason is quite simple. In their hearts, mainline conservatives know Romney and Gingrich will sell them down the river at the drop of a hat. They know Romney was a liberal Republican governor of a liberal blue state, and that Gingrich AFTER winning the House back for the GOP basically failed thereafter as anything but a commentator. And every non-Romney candidate — Bachmann, Perry, Santorum, Huntsman — have all failed.
But at the same time the Republican Establishment hates Paul’s anti-Fed, anti-war message and is working overtime to spread such hatred, with cash for comments if necessary. Because no more money printing, not only no more welfare state, but no more warfare state either. Hence the desperation. The Paul haters in my view are every bit as fanatical and determined to assassinate his character as the Paul loyalists are to promote their man. You smell that? That’s fear that the Establishment, Dempublican, is crumbling, and with it your jobs and pals in D.C.

So yes, even if the smears do work and Paul falls, after Romney goes down in flames and manages to lose to one of the most incredibly unpopular incumbents in the history American politics, all of the people that voted for Ron Paul will say, “See, we told you so. The Stupid Party is as Stupid Party does.” And then immediately start campaigning for Rand in 2016, if there is an election by 2016…

Ron Paul named his son Rand. Ron Paul is libertarian to his very core. Libertarians think objectivism is a greater philosophy than orthodox (in the sense of straight forward and strictly biblical) Christianity. Objectivism would take this nation to oblivion just as fast as national socialism or communism. Humanity must accept God as it’s supreme control factor. When it relies on human philosophy it goes mad every time. Unfortunately it is far too late to save western civilization as we sold our souls to materialism generations ago.
