I have this post over at my PJ Rule of Law blog about the NAACP petitioning the United Nations Human Rights Council to aid their opposition to voter integrity measures in the United States, including Texas and South Carolina Voter ID. Who comprises the “United Nations Human Rights Council”? A bunch of First and Third World thugs that include:
China, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Nigeria, Djibouti, Kyrgyzstan, and the paragon of free elections, the Russian Federation.
Shame on the NAACP. This gang is the last place they should turn to with complaints about the United States of America.
Does seeking relief (or attention) from a corrupt non-governmental entity speak to the brainpower behind the NAACP…or the lack of same?

I doubt if the NAACP really believes in this gambit. They are an increasingly obsolete organization and do things like this to remain “relevant” and raise funds. Presumably if the UN “Human Rights Council” (I can’t write that title with a straight face) refuses to act on their petition the the NAACP will appeal to the Star Trek “Federation of Planets.”

Increasing obsolete organization? Get real; this true vote nonsense is nothing more than a limit the vote campaign and a great example of why the NAACP is still needed. Is anyone silly enough to believe that true vote won’t limit African American voting?
Have better luck with the advisory council of the non-aligned worlds.

For those who still need proof, go to Breitbart’s Pigford coverage. THAT should be a front page story. Everywhere. Instead, the Dems want to pay more non-farmers for not being given loans to farm (racist discrimination, of course). In fact, they teach applicants for the settlement that any actual farming would prove they were not discriminated against, so being a not-farmer works better to get the graft. Don’t take Breitbart’s word for it. Just watch the video.
