The New York Post has this disturbing piece about Obama becoming increasingly isolated, even in his own administration:
Everybody else, including members of his Cabinet, have little face time with him except for brief meetings that serve as photo ops. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner both have complained, according to people who have talked to them, that they are shut out of important decisions.
The president’s workdays are said to end early, often at 4 p.m. He usually has dinner in the family residence with his wife and daughters, then retreats to a private office. One person said he takes a stack of briefing books. Others aren’t sure what he does.
If the reports are accurate, and I believe they are, they paint a picture of an isolated man trapped in a collapsing presidency.
One cannot ignore the danger of this circumstance, even if political fortunes have reversed for Obama and his adversaries. A weakened Presidency sends a message around the world to rogue regimes, and rough tyrants, some of whom command nuclear weapons, or soon will.

“A weakened Presidency sends a message around the world to rogue regimes, and rough tyrants, some of whom command nuclear weapons, or soon will.”
Well intentionned comment, but the world has known about him from at least 2007/2008. Every country on the planet did more due diligence on this mega nee small-time criminal than the American people did. That’s why so many of them participated so gleefully in tanking the US (and hence, the world’s) economy in 2008.
And they will do what they can in 2012 as well.
One thing we can rely on: the national media will not pursue this story even though it is very important to our nation. We have a president who knows nothing about his job except his agenda which cannot work and is making things in this country worse.
I don’t understand why our enemies have not made more of the vacuum in the white house. Perhaps they feel they are advancing their interests and do not want to bring attention to themselves.
Mr. Obama must be removed from office next year; but during the campaign, it has already begun, we will get no thoughtful analysis from the newspapers and TV networks we regularly depend upon. We are on our own. The fate of our nation is in our hands.
Could BHO be the guy who’s been kicking my ass in “Call of Duty” all week?
I wonder if along with Barry’s increasing isolation there is a corresponding sense of paranoia; after all if the people, and his party, are not with him then they must be against him. Great, just what we need; an increasingly isolated, paranoid and frantic President who feels that everyone is against him. How can Barry make even the simplest decision when he is living in a paranoid and delusional state of mind.
Geez, for a minute there I thought I was reading about Nixon.
“When I am weary, filled with despair
Who gives me courage to go on from there
And who gives me faith that will never die
Somebody bigger than you and I” (Words & music by Lange – Heath – Burke)
Fortunately, Barry has his faith in someone greater than himself to support him, doesn’t he?
He needs to be that way January 21st, 2013..
Even Nixon had Bebe Rebozo to hang with when times were tough. Does Barry have anyone that he could count as an old friend to just hang with?
Of course, someone who is perfectly willing to throw his own grandmother under the bus as a racist, maybe has trouble keeping friends.
