In this short but sweet denouement Tom Maguire whose blog, Just One Minute, is always a must read, pins Attorney General Eric Holder to the mat.
Eric Holder provides the smile du jour for this rhetorical surge:
Holder also lashed out at some of the more extreme charges being leveled by Republican lawmakers, such as a statement this week by Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) that federal officials who approved the “gun-walking” technique should be charged as accessories to murder.
“Such irresponsible and inflammatory rhetoric must be repudiated in the strongest possible terms,” Holder wrote. “Those who serves in the ranks of law enforcement are our nation’s heroes and deserve our nation’s thanks, not the disrespect that is being heaped on them by those who seek political advantage.”
That would stand in contrast to the investigation of CIA professionals on the front lines in the war on terror who have been investigated for their role in the enhanced interrogation program.

Holder’s days are numbered. I think they are just looking for a way to let him “retire” peacefully. He’ll fight as hard as can until then, to keep as much of his eroding advantage as he needs.
His days are numbered, and then he’ll hit the lecture circuit where liberal groups will pay $250,000 per lecture.
With any luck, he’ll be followed within 14 months by his patron, the incumbent who will have lost the presidency but gained a lecture bureau.
I’ll tell you who needs an enhanced interrogation: Eric Holder.
So many questions, so few answers.
Why shouldn’t federal officials who approved the foreseeably lethal “gun walking” be charged as accessories to murder? They are. There’s nothing “irresponsible and inflammatory” with saying that. It’s Criminal Law 101.
Reports are that they just found more F & F weapons in the home of a Mexican cartel enforcer. The scope of the law enforcement blunder just grows. If I were Mexico I;d consider this an act of war.
why isn’t Mexico asking for Holder’s head as an international criminal? This must qualify.
Eric Holder’s days are numbered? Dream on.
Holder is Obama’s enforcer—his Frank Nitti, if you will. It is Holder whose lawfare army is busy putting thumbs on the honest-election scales all across the country. It is Holder who has stacked the Justice Department with ideologues and schlepped guns to the drug cartels. It is Holder whose Social Justice Department has walked away from a voter intimidation case it had won, and has refused to investigate others—solely on the basis of race. It is Holder who stands, like Horatius at the bridge, protecting the Administration from special prosecutor delving into the criminalities of Solyndra, Lightsquared, the pissed-away money of Stimulus One, etc.
Holder came into office sneering that America was “a nation of cowards” about race. How right he was—for what he was actually saying was that if he resolutely stacked his office with racists and resolutely played the race card to protect his illegalities, he would be able to do so with impunity. And thus far, he is right.
