Class warfare may be getting out of control:
Several influential New York state lawmakers have received threatening mails saying it is “time to kill the wealthy” if they don’t renew the state’s tax surcharge on millionaires, according to reports.
“It’s time to tax the millionaires!” reads the email, according to WTEN in Albany. “If you don’t, I’m going to pay a visit with my carbine to one of those tech companies you are so proud of and shoot every spoiled Ivy League [expletive] I can find.”
State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos reportedly received the email, as did State Assembly Majority Leader Ron Canestrari. The governor’s office did not tell the New York Daily News whether the governor received the email.
The email, with the threatening subject line of, “time to kill the wealthy,” was detailed and disturbing.
“How hard is it for us to stake out one of the obvious access roads to some tech company, tail an employee home and toss a liquor bottle full of flaming gasoline through their nice picture window into their cute house,” wrote the author of the email.
The email references terminology that has been used in the “Occupy Wall Street” movement — that the1 percent, the super rich, are exploiting the remaining 99 percent of Americans. The angry message demanded that Albany politicians “stop shoveling wealth from the lower 99 percent into the top 1 percent” and “set aside your ‘no new taxes on anybody’ pledge.”
Remember when Sarah Palin’s innocuous and irrelevant map became a bloody shirt when an apolitical nutcase went on a shooting rampage? Well, forget about that. Put it out of your mind. Now that President Obama has been waging sustained rhetorical war on the rich to get himself re-elected at any cost, the media isn’t going to make the connection between his words, those of leftists like Roseanne Barr, and these email threats and whatever might follow.
Obama has set the tone.
Tyrants never have an issue with coercion. What makes Obama different is that he is willing to publicly encourgage it.
Shades of Weimar. Guess what’s next?
Jeez, leftards, if you kill everyone with money, who will pony up for your SSI, welfare and food stamps?
Exercise a little common sense.
If they could do that, they wouldn’t be leftards.
Clearly the spirit of Madison, WI is alive and well among the Occupation Army. I’ve not seen such blood-curdling threats since the PEUs went after Scott Walker and the Fitzgerald brothers.
Some of the protesters in our recent examples of social unrest are obvious phonies and posers, and I suspect that some of them are being bused in and paid to perform on cue.
And then there are the delusional types, some of whom live on the streets all the time because they are insane, drunk, on drugs, or all of the above. Other crazies don’t live on the streets, but they’re holed up somewhere and may “go postal” or become dangerous stalkers if the stimuli and the opportunity present themselves.
By destroying the US economy, and then blaming everyone’s plight on “the wealthy,” Obama is stirring up all kinds of nutcases to commit acts of violence. That, of course, will be the excuse to demand restrictions on firearms as well as more money for policing and surveillance, as if that had anything to do with the problem.
Incitement to violence is a crime.
Michael Moore, Roseanne Barr — if there is a crime, they should be charged with incitement — Oh, and our president too!

Good job, Democrats! You unleashed this dog and continue to throw it red meat. But you didn’t think that this thing will turn on you – and in fact it already has. Soon, your heads will roll too. Then we’ll see what you have to say. Stupid Marxist sympathizers.
The upside of this class hatred is a ton of Wall Streeters are Democrats who help fund the leftist propaganda machine and are a major audience for the MSM. Maybe we’ll see a change in behavior.
