Maybe. Take a look at this tweet from RealClearPolitics’ Scott Conroy.
BREAKING: Palin’s participation in Saturday’s Tea Party of America rally is “on hold,” 2 sources close to Palin tell RCP
And then check out this tweet from Christine O’Donnell.
In Troublemaker I talk about ‘rising above it’, and have humbly re-accepted the re-invitation to speak in Iowa on Saturday.
So has O’Donnell been re-invited, after yesterday’s un-invitation? ABC reports that Palin hasn’t cancelled, and will appear at the Sept. 3 event.
Whatever happens, our own Tony Katz is one of the key speakers and will report from the scene.

I think Sarah is going to endorse Perry rather quickly.
If she really wants to run, why has she waited so long? She could have reduced the field to her and Romney long ago. To jump in now would trash Perry as well as Bachmann, and she is even more likely to finish as an also-ran, ending her future chances to run for President. But endorsing a strong candidate enhances her long-term presidential prospects, if she is even interested in being President, which isn’t all that likely.
She may have had an agreement with Perry that goes back a year or longer.
“If she really wants to run, why has she waited so long?”
Multiple targets are harder to hit. Teh won hasn’t anything to offer as accomplishments. So he has to run a smear campaign to take attention away from his overall level of incompetence. The MSM has his back with enormous buckets of mud to toss. By waiting, Sara give them the opportunity to toss those buckets at everyone else first.
The problem with smear campaigns is the the voters catch on. So when the MSM smears Perry or tries too, switching to Palin is less effective. It might even backfire.
Palin would be the best choice, being an anti corruption crusader. That is why the GOP establishment fears her so. The RINO’s want a POTUS that will shove the tax dollars their way. Remember the GOP Establishment LOVED Bush, since he made them richer. Perry is acceptable. Mitt isn’t.
I am/was/may be a rabid Palin fan but I have no clue as to what she is doing, and I lean toward the “waited too long” camp. Regarding pitiful Ms. O’Donnell, I think Bryan nailed it the other day with the observation that she destroyed her tenuous credibility with her walk-out on CNN (The Morgan interview should have been refused, not walked-out on.)
I gave AllahPundit grief for running with this, so I’ll give it to you, too.
There was NOTHING to the Palin story. Scott Conroy’s “tweet” was BS, utterly unsourced. It was refuted within half an hour.
At least have the decency to update the story with the facts. And stop treating Twitter as if it’s a worthwhile news source! It’s good for politicians to step on their own cranks, but as a source for solid information?! Please…
