Video: Maxine Waters Slams Obama’s Record on Jobs

Along with slamming The Won’s record on failing to visit black neighborhoods during his Magical Misery Tour. Playing the race card on the first black president…

Waters, the congresswoman who once threatened to nationalize oil companies, sounds somewhat mainstream, for a change.

“The Black Caucus loves the president, too. We’re supportive of the president. But we’re getting tired, though … What we want to do is give the president every opportunity to show what he can do and what he’s prepared to lead on,” she said, “but our people are hurting; the unemployment is unconscionable. We don’t know what the strategy is.”

Sure we do. The president’s strategy is to go on vacation, watch the markets tank again while jobless claims inch up, then come back with yet another speech.

  1. It’ll take a REAL true blue miracle to energize Obama’s base this time around. I don’t think the smoke and mirrors and a dazzling grin is going to cut much mustard in areas with 20-30% unemployment.

Who knows, maybe he’ll get back to them on that after another lifestyles of the rich and famous vacation.

Obama’s re-election plan is to stifle job creation for the next two years while blaming the Republicans and the Tea Party for it. It’s a risky agenda because it assumes his base will care more about keeping him in office than their own problems (like going broke.) Waters statement is a warning to him that it’s not gonna work. Will he take the hint? Hell no.

It’s a sham. Coordinated talking points to make Obama seem to be the enemy of the radical blacks in Congress.

The left truly believes the opposition to Obama is all about race, and think this is a way to gain from the racism of his opponents. Make Obama seem “safe” in comparison.

Neither Waters nor Obama have ever created a single _wealth producing_ job. Not a one. Ever.

So why should anyone expect him to be able to “create” job (which are derivative, not primary, to a economy except for “Make Work” jobs? Only a Luddite who thinks ATM machines are a detraction from “employment” does not understand the most basic fundamentals of productivity and commerce could miss these essentials.

To better the job market, Obama would have to reverse his policies 180 degrees, and we all know the possibility of that.

Unfortunately, far too many of Waters’ and Obama’s constituency are locked into the CULTURE of ignorance about productivity and corresponding requirements of skills/attitude/effort.
