Seriously. Texas Democrats — Texas Democrats — are planning what is blatantly an anti-prayer rally. In Texas.

The same day that Gov. Rick Perry hosts a prayer-and-fasting event in Houston, the Travis County Democratic Party will rally against Perry at the state Capitol.

Party officials say the noon rally on Aug. 6 will be called “Rick Perry: Bad for Texas, Worse for Our Nation.”
