I have to go with Treacher on this — the evidence is overwhelming. Some people really are too dumb to be President of the United States. Watch the video and be afraid.
Jokes aside, most of these flubs and fumbles happened before Obama was president. They’re from the campaign trail. The pressures of the presidency were not upon his bony shoulders yet. Yet the press treats him as a godlike figure of nearly unrivaled brilliance, and Sarah Palin as the stooge who is and will always be unfit for office.

Sure he makes gaffes–we all do. But look at how successful he has been in getting the unemployment rate down and getting the budget deficit under control and facing the problem of the looming entitlement crisis. Those are the things that matter. If it were not for Obama we would have unemployment rates well above 8% and federal deficits approaching a trillion dollars. If Obama were not president Gitmo would still be open and we might be bombing countries other than Afghanistan and Iraq.
It’s fascinating how they idolize Obama like he was Elvis or the Beatles. It’s like they are literally in love with him. They don’t see a man, they see a god. The way they say how superior his intellect is. It sounds like cult followers talking about their guru.
Ugh. I detest the man so much that I….can’t….bring….myself….to…click…on…the..link.
I know he’s an idiot and not only do I need no further proof, but I can no longer torture myself by listening to him.
There is a complete blackout on ObamaSpeak in my household. Obama viewings result in the equivalent of Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS).
Obama Tourettes Syndrome (OTS).
How many remember that during the 2008 Republican National Convention, the teleprompter failed to move forward when Sarah Palin was giving her electrifying speech, but she had learned it by practicing it, and delivered it flawlessly. Whenever Obama is deprived of this rhetorical crutch, he ums and errs and mindlessly repeats “uh, uh, uh, uh” because…because he is not brilliant, he is not “eloquent,” and he cannot think straight. Even with the damned machine running, he hasn’t uttered a memorable sentence in his Presidency because his speech writers are not only ignorant of history and manners, but also of the rudiments of a powerful speech. And the President’s flat affect and total inability to sound anything remotely human, rather than robotic, add to his problems in communicating with the rest of humanity.
In conclusion, ARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH.
The video left me pretty unimpressed. Honestly, if those are the worst mistakes you can find (some of them were just him saying “um” or “uh” a couple times – who doesn’t have to pause for a moment sometimes when explaining something complex), I’m kind of impressed. It’s a good thing nohype was there in the first comment to remind me of the top few items on my list of things I don’t like about Obama.
Dumb as a rock. If this is the end result of affirmative action then the program needs to be shut down as soon as possible.
I am among what is probably a growing number of people who used to believe that Sarah Palin was not up to the job of being President but are changing their minds. My own reason is that I like someone who is brave. Ms. Palin has proven to be one of the bravest public figures that I have ever seen. For nearly three years she (and her family) have been attacked without mercy, humanity or sense by the left. Yet she has stood up to it with both her dignity and good humor intact while giving as good as she gets.
We should be reminded of Margaret Thatcher who was sneered at by the toffs in the Conservative Party as “a middle-class shopkeepers daughter.” (This was kind compared to what Labour had to say about her.) She proved to be the real deal as Prime Minister because of her bravery, good sense and moral toughness. We don’t often see these qualities in our own politicians and, for right now, Ms. Palin is the only one exhibiting them.
