AG Holder: Civilian court system is America’s ‘most effective terror-fighting weapon’

Rigid ideology.

Holder’s declaration came in a Thursday speech to hundreds of progressive lawyers, advocates, judges and students gathered at the American Constitution Society’s annual gala. “I know that – in distant countries, and within our own borders – there are people intent on, and actively plotting to, kill Americans,” he told his legal peers in the enthusiastic audience. “Victory and security will not come easily, and they won’t come at all if we adhere to a rigid ideology, adopt a narrow methodology, or abandon our most effective terror-fighting weapon – our Article III [civil] court system,” he declared to much applause.

Holder delivered his speech several months after Congress and public opinion defeated his two-year political campaigns to transfer five captured Al Qaeda leaders from the military’s legal commissions to the legal profession’s civilian courts, and to close the military’s Guantanamo Bay terrorist detention facility.

Obviously, then, we should disband the DoD, mothball our ships and planes, hold bake sales to cover our new minimalist defense costs, and send liberal lawyers out to chase terrorists.

Am I a bad person for kind of hoping Holder does that last one?

If we deployed our lawyers and judges in phalanxes surrounding our soldiers, they would definitely blunt the impact of Muslim terror on the front lines… Closer to home, strapping “Justice” lawyers and attorneys general to our critical infrastructure, might it soften the impact of Muslim terrorism considerably. Would the towers have fallen if the planes first had to slice through the soft bodies of a few hundred lawyers before connecting with steel? Any structural engineers want to weigh in? holder might be onto something.

Obviously, Holder is an idiot, and obviously his fellow legal beagles are too full of themselves to see why.

Our most effective terrorist fighting tool is our Article I armed forces, and the civil court system is as useless as tits on a boar, when it comes to dealing with Muslim terrorists.

Mr. Preston, you are a good person and a logical-thinking one to hope that Eric Holder leads the charge against terrorists—by becoming a human shield for Americans who do not believe that the last best hope against terror is our “Article III [civil] court system.” Anyone who believes that should be subjected to one of the most rigorous exercises in justice known to humanity: a court-martial. Holder and Obama are joined at the hip—where most of their legal analysis, apparently, takes place. Their legal thinking certainly isn’t a product of a functioning human brain.

“Obviously, then, we should … send liberal lawyers out to chase terrorists.

Am I a bad person for kinda hoping the last one’s reversed?

Self-edit: I forgot to close the excerpted quote:

“Obviously, then, we should … send liberal lawyers out to chase terrorists.”
