Why is Anthony Weiner apologizing to Bill Clinton?

Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) apologized for the ongoing “sext” scandal to Bill Clinton, who officiated at his wedding to wife Huma Abedin, Politico reported Wednesday.

Weiner, who admitted Monday that he had sent explicit images and messages to a number of women online, called the former president in the past 48 hours to explain his conduct, according to the report.

Bill Clinton is the one person to whom Weiner needs to offer the least explanation.
