Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is in Spain:
Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is in Spain today, meeting with leaders of that country’s energy industry and participating in the U.S.-Spain Council Business Forum. He is also set to meet with Repsol, the Spanish national oil and gas company.
Maybe: he’s seen the future and nearly four fifths of it works. (20+% unemployment)

what is the INTERIOR secretary doing out of the interior?
do we have an EXTERIOR secretary?
us/spain business forum? which one is the dumb one and which is the blind?
Good point, dax. The Department of the Interior is in charge of national parks, federal lands, and of national resources.
There is a real problem in this administration of folks treading on other Departments’ toes. They each think they can do just anything, as, in their minds, they are each a representative of Obama. Obama has the power, and so do they, by extension.
So, the question becomes, if he really is outside his purview, did Obama send him? If so, why ever would he do such a thing? Why not someone from State or Commerce instead? Does he really believe these are completely interchangeable parts, that one Cabinet Secretary is the same as another? Is this really just a junket?
Maybe he is a huge Moto GP fan and loves the Repsol Honda team? Or maybe he was trying to cadge a Repsol Honda CBR1000 out of them. God, if only…
