Imagine how many people would have been killed if Assad WASN’T a reformer.
“The Obama administration continues to do little or nothing.”
Yes. Although, it seems to working fairly well, relative to anything else the U.S. has tried.

Now may be a very good time to heed the words of … someone (Dean Acheson??):
“Don’t just do something! Stand there.”
I have never believed the chronic complaint over there that all their (myriad) problems, disappointments and frustrations are our (or Israel’s) fault, but our heavy influence and support for dictators at least lended a kind of superficial plausibility to that whine.
For better or worse, we are about to enter an era of stark clarity regarding just exactly who is responsible for the mess over there.
The Oil states will piss in there pants when Assad’s head ends up on a pole.
Assad’s a chip off the old block. Plus, he has all those Chem, and Bio weapons.
There is only so much DaOne, and his CFR government can do for the Muslim brotherhood in North Africa, Egypt, North America, and around the Persian Sea. But, their trying their best with our money, and military.
We have to wait for Russia to decide what it will do otherwise nothing can occur at the UNSC. Assad is going to have to kill an awful lot of people to put this down long term. Mass graves will be found. He will end up at the ICC.
As soon as he fired the first shot he should have realized that he would have to murder hundreds of thousands of people. Because I don’t think has enough camels and goats to pay the blood debt.
