An Israeli Response to J Street

Daniel Gordis of the Shalem Center addressed the J Street Leadership Mission to Israel and Palestine. His remarks were brilliantly phrased and worth reading. (See especially his deconstruction of J Street rhetoric.) But it’s hard to believe that the ultra-liberal, peace-at-all-costs Jewish group could be listening. Their views are so reified and entrenched, they are not likely able even be able to hear the other side. Besides, they are liars. And liars, as we all know, live their lives in denial.
