Have you noticed how in both the East and the West, Chicago and Oklahoma City both gave up huge leads in their respective finals and lost? One of the major reasons is they played to protect their leads and not to win. That’s the way Mitt Romney is campaigning and why he will lose.
it takes belief and conviction to “go for the throat”
and much like the pampered student who waltzes through a university curricula only to be slapped in the face by the reality which awaits him many of today’s young athletes (especially americans,) pampered and coddled-constantly put on a pedestal and showered with praise- wither under the pressures of true competition (in this case, the nba playoffs where the exhibitionism of the regular season is replaced, for a few weeks anyways, with the real sport)
definitely a life lesson that applies to practically all venues
