I thought, the night bin Laden was killed, that I should post something predicting it would be called “murder” and “a war crime” by someone in the media. But it was late and I was tired, so I said “tomorrow morning” … and of course, by then it was already too late. Today’s front page has “The European Media Reacts to the Death of Osama bin Laden“.
At some point here my Evil Twin takes over. In some dark recess of my heart, I want a spokesperson for the US to end an interview with one of these idiots with “don’t make us come over there.” And when the Pakistanis:
…warned America Thursday of “disastrous consequences” if it carries out any more unauthorized raids against suspected terrorists like the one that killed Osama bin Laden.
I want to email them the famous pictures with a note that says “don’t push your luck.”

Better yet, send Europe a bill for saving their asses twice, then send a note to the Pakis that says “read my lips, no mo money” with copy of a check for 1.5 billion with Pakistan scratched out and India written in the Payee line.
Indeed, India is now our only ally on the SubContinent. They are now our only bulwark against the Af-Paks to the north; to their consternation as much as ours.
Our media would have joined the herd, too, if it weren’t for the fact their boy is sitting in the Oval Office.
“No more raids like the one that took out Osama? OK. The next raid will be like the ones into Hiroshima and Nagasaki.”
