During yesterday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing featuring Attorney General Eric Holder, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX01) asks the AG about DOJ’s scuttling of prosecutions of top US Islamic leaders on terror-finance charges (reported exclusively here at Pajamas Media last month), including CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad. Gohmert calls out the AG on a recent article in the Dallas Morning News by interim Dallas US Attorney Jim Jacks claiming there was no political influence made in the decision and that it was based on the evidence, contradicted by filings made by Jacks in federal court about CAIR and its officials role in the Hamas financing network in the US.
