He’s blue today. It would have been nice to be asked, is all:
Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on Monday said the United States had violated Pakistan’s sovereignty by sending in Special Forces to kill Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden.
US President Barack Obama had ordered the raid by a small team of US Special Forces, which found Laden, who had evaded capture for a decade, in a home in a fortified compound in Abbottabad city, located 50 kilometres northeast of Islamabad and 150 kilometres east of Peshawar.
“America coming to our territory and taking action is a violation of our sovereignty. Handling and execution of the operation (by US forces) is not correct. The Pakistani government should have been kept in the loop,” Musharraf told an Indian news channel.
“Foreign troops crossing the border into Pakistan will not be liked by the people of Pakistan. US forces should not have crossed over into Pakistan,” he added.

Hmmm. Makes you wonder what Pervez Musharraf really knew during his tenure as Pakistani dictat…err…”President”.
Not to nitpick but if Mushy is “blue” then he is more likely listening to Eiffel65. Just sayin’…
Pakistan forfeited its sovereignty by sheltering an enemy of all mankind.
Now you know how Adolph Hitler’s comrades felt. The whole area’s a shithole of immorality when it comes to anything that doesn’t agree with Islam in general. It doesn’t matter what people in that area of the world do – it’s right and that’s that. As far as I am concerned, the whole area, at least in tacit spirit, is the equivalent of the Axis Powers and Pakistan is one of the worst.
That whole country is a contradiction of totally reasonable people who like the West and want to live in peace, India haters, people against music, Nationalists – I’m surprised it hasn’t fallen under its own weight.
Pakistani leaders should worry less about their sovereignty and more about their survival. I for one, knowing that it was only with the help of at least parts of the Paki Gov that Laden evaded capture for so long, could support a plan to turn the entire surface of Pakistan into molten lava.
Just wondering: If the Pakistani government (or intelligence agencies) had cooperated with the US, including prior knowledge of the action, wouldn’t Pakistan deny it for political reasons anyway? And wouldn’t the USA go along with that denial in return for that co-operation?
