A must-read article by Gil Hoffman in the JPost vindicates Israel in the ongoing debate about who killed the 2008 peace talks between Abbas and Olmert:
But a new reading of the documents by a Christian organization in the United States found that unlike the way they were reported, the Palestine Papers actually proved the Israeli point of view correct on all the key issues.

What, you mean the MSM mis-reported the contents of a report hoping no one checked their homework?
Well, why should the MSM report when the MSM gets the story wrong? If the truth doesn’t fit the narrative they will just avoid reporting it.
So what’s new? It’s the same each time. A new president and nothing
changes. The only constant is an Arabist and anti-Semitic State Department(from John Foster Dulles to Hillary Clinton). There was never peace in the Middle East, with or without Israel. The thing that is most amazing is the ability of Iran to encourage Arabs to kill Arabs
and Muslims to kill other Muslims.
It takes no talent to encourage the Arabs to kill each other or to kill everyone else. It’s what they do. Their religion indoctrinates them with the desireability of it from childhood. With that kind of a start it takes very little effort to nudge them on down the path.

American leftist might nash their teeth and be forced to drink their latte, but in Europe, the reaction would be far worse – and deadly.
The primary issues is that Nazis control the European media from the BBC on down. Their coverage of the war would be Goebbelsesque, painting the Jews as evil scum just like Der Stuermer did. This would whip local Muslims into a genocidal frenzy where they would slaughter defenseless Jews. European governments, afraid of Muslims and in sympathy with their desire to exterminate the Jews once and for all, would do nothing. Israel would then be forced to either let a million European Jews die and do nothing, or launch nuclear weapons, which, the second they land in Paris, would mean annihilation by the French nuclear arsenal.
Israel would have no choice at that point but to consider this a second Holocaust, that all is lost, and launch a total nuclear retaliation, resulting in the end of “civilization.”
I expect that once the Israeli invasion of Gaza and Lebanon starts, we would likely come to that point within 72-96 hours.

I would suggest that Israel annex a square km of Gaza or the
West Bank every time there is a terrorist attack. Eventually the problem solves itself.
