Wisconsin: Democrats ‘committing fraud, harassment’ (Update: Confirmed!)
Via Steve Eggleston — This is coming from the Wisconsin GOP which has an interest in trumping misdeeds by the other side. But the “other side” is the same side that fleabagged off to a Scottish Hooters rather than do their jobs, to gum up democracy and stop a bill they didn’t have the votes to stop. The “other side” also occupied the statehouse, threatened Republicans, and their union allies threatened local businesses that didn’t toe the line. So, you know, the “other side” has already shown that it’s not above much when it comes to shenanigans. And the shenanigans here are pretty bad if they’re true.
The Democrat Party of Wisconsin is using a fraudulent tactic to harass and intimidate constituents who favor recalling Democrat Senator Dave Hansen of Green Bay.
The Democratic Party has targeted for harassment people who signed recall petitions against Senator Hansen, making calls on beginning on Monday April 25th using a fake phone number and caller ID that showed up on phones as “Bay Care Aurora,” a well-known Green Bay area medical center. Once recall supporters answered the phone, they were told they were speaking with a Democrat Party of Wisconsin operative, and were questioned about signing a petition to recall Hansen.
That’s low stuff, spoofing the phone number of a hospital to fool people into answering their phone. After all, a hospital calling may mean a family member has been injured or worse. You’ll answer that call. But a political party calling, well, most people are more likely to just dismiss that as another call to get at your cash. The Democrats are, naturally, claiming that all this is just an innocent mistake. Of course. It just happens to be a mistake that makes perfect tactical sense.
What’s being alleged here is certainly unethical and probably illegal. But then again, with the police union in the Democrats’ back pocket, they might not have much to fear on that front.
Update: Yes, they did it. Some people need to spend some time in jail.
WTAQ-AM/FM is confirming this, complete with Democrat Party of Wisconsin admission that they’re behind the calls, that they will continue the calls (with a changed Caller ID), and a claim from both them and the hired telemarketing firm that the use of the medical center’s name was a “mistake”.
I work at a telecom – spoofing a CallerID like that is EXTREMELY illegal.
Not if you’re above the law. Ultimately Holder or someone will sue anyone who tries to hold dem lawbreakers accountable. Must be nice.
The people doing this are enemies of the American people. They do not care about our laws, traditions, lives, children, or anything else conservatives hold dear. They are part of an evil cult (Progressivism). They should be treated accordingly.
I don’t work at a telecom, but I can’t see how this could POSSIBLY be a mistake.
Caller IDs are programmed into a system, whether that system is a single phone or a bank of them. So it follows that a different ID would also have to be deliberately programmed in – that doesn’t just happen.
Or am I missing something?
I worked at a Telco and it’s very hard to make that kinda mistake for a phone bank. And they have to make double sure when dealing with a HMO or hospital. if I were the aggrieved party…I’d sue for damage to the Brand
Pulling out all the stops for the cause: doctors committing fraud; police letting personal politics affect their enforcement of the law; death threats against politicians; now incorporating fraud in their harassment of petition-signers.
The left continues to cover themselves in glory in Wisconsin.

The ultimate victim in the Wisconsin political war is the same victim as in the Arizona political war…and the Virginia political war…and Ohio…and on, and on. That victim is the Rule of Law. The progressive, socialist army is using every weapon in the arsenel it has in schools, in government on every level, in business, in unions, in regulations..and yes, as we witnessed with Barack Obama’s Easter visit to a leftist, revolutionary BLT church….even religion is being co-opted for concentration-camp control. Somewhere along the way…alot of people simply surrendered their American citizenship to a political party and an ideology…both of which stand in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights…the foundation for that victim, Rule of Law.
They have him on the run…and he’s looking for volunteers to keep him alive long enough to turn the tide. Tea Party folks, and the silent majority..and where possible, democrats with a conscience and common sense must converge and stand as one. This is a war of attrition…and the left, led by their Commandant, Barack Obama…will take no prisoners…they want the head of Rule of Law on a platter…and they want it now.
