i did a quick glance at the la times review for this and it’s obvious the typical times responder fails to understand capitalism and economics

curious how all these people have had time to see the movie before it was released too

the fact that it is getting negative reviews just verifies that it must be worth watching

If they don’t like it, I’ll go for sure.

  3. I saw the first showing, and the audience applauded. I ask myself:
What it is which makes Ayn Rand’s novel (and this terrific film) irreplaceable? No other 20th century author – not Koestler, Malraux, or Victor Serge – lays bare the character-types who enable gunpoint-socialism. It is not fiction sprung from ideas and Hollywood but takes it passion from the life of the author: a woman who clawed her way out of Soviet Russia.
