Yawn: Tim Kaine is running for Senate

He was a terrible head of the DNC who carried Obama’s liberal water whenever he had the chance. Virginia has trended away from purple and back to red. Kaine is often described in the media as “popular,” but Virginia’s one-term limit for governors means he was never really tested in a re-elect scenario. So my estimation is that while Tim Kaine is a major candidate, he’s coming into this election in a weak position relative to George Allen.
