Look, to anyone from a machine/union town, this is no surprise — city resources are regularly used to support the unions, which supports the machine, runs the city, which allocates the resources.
What we’re seeing is pretty much standard for any time a machine accidentally loses an election.

Part of the reason the Big Labor Trust has to be shattered. Like any overly large, overly powerful organization, they turn corrupt, and that corruption spreads to everything they touch.
