Video: Meet Andrew Ian Dodge, Republican for Senate in Maine

Or, the other man who will defeat Olympia Snowe. Bloggers and blog readers will undoubtedly recognize Dodge’s name from the various blogs he has written for over the years since 2001. The Tatlercam asked him about his quest to become the next Senator from Maine.

    Not a chance.

  2. The Tea Party, here in Maine, has one year to solidify it’s support behind one candidate. I will be very interested in seeing what some of the newer movers and shakers like Amy Hale have to say and what some of the more my age older true conservatives like Pat Truman have to say.

No challenge to Snowe can be successful with the support of both the Amy Hales’s and the Pat Truman’s of Maine.

My advice to any challenger of Snowe’s would be don’t come to us and tell us how much democrats and moderates like you. Instead tell us that peole like Amy, Pat, Skip Foley, and Mike Heath are behind you.

  3. Snowe has been hard at work burnishing her Republican credentials and has made significant efforts to help the state party and promoted LePage’s candidacy. I was invited to a meeting with her on Friday that included a couple of Tea Party organizers and a couple of others as unequivocally conservative as I.

Her presentation was skillful, although no particularly satisfying. AID appears to be as hostile to the social conservatives as the senator herself. His speeches are well-received at TP rallies, but the clear favorite among the ralliers has been LePage and Dodge has sniped at him quite often. I don’t see where his base is.
