I am outrageously outraged that Sarah Palin took this president’s perfectly fine State of the Union theme, Winning the Future, and turned it into WTF. Even though those are the actual initials of Winning the Future. I stand with other, more reasonable conservatives, and denounce this attempt to once again drag our politics into the gutter. I will spend every single Beltway cocktail party saying as much. I am nearly equally outrageously outraged that this very blog seems to have started the WTF? meme. Out. Rageous.
I am also outrageously outraged at suggestions that this president may have plagiarized both the title of his fine address, as well as many passages therein. That is just divisive talk, at a time when we need healing. In this Sputnik moment, we need to look beyond the facts and recognize that in this president we have a man whose pantleg creases know no equal. His eloquence is without peer, no matter whose words he’s reading, or whose thoughts he’s borrowing. If you do not see his brilliance, well, I am outraged on your behalf.
The near childishly naive views of “The Respectable Conservative” are very disconcerting. Anyone halfway objective realizes that Barack Obama is an ill educated man. Unfortunately, white race guilt prevents many from admitting the obvious.
I think that was snarkasm. Just a hunch.
Hah! Receptacled Conservative indeed. How apt. Why not add Liberal Conversative to your mountain of appellations?
A Skeptical Conservative

Sarah Palin is hardly a loose cannon. She is a Principled Conservative cannon aimed directly at Dems and their dimwitted policies. Ironically, her targets also provide her with ammo. Oops, sorry Respectable, for using the words cannon, aimed, target and ammo. Also for juxtaposing the words Principled and Conservative. I know thats hard to get your brain around.
This is the most UNpartriotic thing she could do and it takes the cake, even for Palin. She put guns in people’s hands (literally) and incites them with her right-wing extremism. There is no stopping her and she refuses to back down or even tone it down. This is a prime example… it couldn’t be in poorer taste. @Brandt – Your sarcasm is so nuanced I almost thought you meant to imply that Jared Loughner was something more than an insane person whose horrible actions were due more to his mental pathology than his left-leaning politics. That was funny.

It was pure sarcasm as evidenced by the DC parties and glowing review of the Joker’s speaking abilities. Lighten up Francis! We need to poke fun at the absurd and show what a complete and utter joke we have serving as the leader of the free world (a term that is never used with the Joker). Please wake up and lighten up because your failure to see and understand humor makes you look a little like the stereotypical of the neanderthals the Left paints of the tea party/republicans.
