– left out of that Rasmussen poll you just quoted is one nasty little fact a pollster can’t really mention.
And that is: 50% of voters already oppose Obama’s new spending, right after he used the SOTU bully pulpit to push it. That number is sure to increase, once the spotlight goes elsewhere and the GOP pushback effort kicks into gear.
That will be kicking into gear, yes?






Yup. So unless Obama has some magic elixir to blast around the entire country, his spending idea are at their high water mark right now.
And how many will oppose his other, quieter, SOTU promise: the plan to massively reorganize the entire government a la Johnson’s “Cooperative Federalism”, I wonder?
