Oh, the sweet sweet irony…

It’s actually a pretty good post.  For the most part.

And I understand the idea that, even if Loughner had no idea who Sharron Angle is and even if he never saw Palin’s infamous cross-hairs map, it still makes sense to encourage political leaders to ditch violent rhetoric.

Lead by example, then, and ditch the “War Room” as your own blog’s name. (hat tip Jim Geraghty)

    Having come to my senses after all the hate speech being screeched at all opponents within reach, I would be revolted to search for reasoned discourse about it at such a site as the ‘War Room’.

    People could start by reserving the term enemies, to people who actually want to plunder, kill, or enslave you. People with differing opinions are at best political opponents.
