The violent rhetoric emanating from extremists on both sides has finally resulted in the terrible shooting of a Democratic congresswoman and the deaths of six people, including a nine-year-old girl. This, then, would be an opportune moment for everyone to take a deep breath, pause, and peruse this aged list of offensive or tasteless speechy things I’ve long wanted banned…

You need to detail the violent rhetoric from the conservative side. I’m well aware of the leftist, liberal, etc smears but conservative violent rhetoric I’ve not seen.
Sorry, freedom of speech includes emphatic, nee violent, words as it does political speech. In fact, frequently they are the same. So I won’t concern myself with tastless or offensive language but will continue to forcefully state my opinion. Freedom of speech is freedom of speech. And if you are offended so be it.
Seems to be something I’d like to read, but… Maybe it’s because I’m, err.. linkagely challenged, or because I’m using Opera 11, but I can’t figure out how to get there from here.
Would one of you nice persons out there post a link to the above article for me? If not… maybe someone would be kind enough to explain either my problem, my ignorance, or this new no-linkage way to do a site.
Thx, old Ez
The link goes to Bryan’s post to which I was responding, which then links to the original story we were both commenting on.
Sorry for the confusion — I’ll include the original link next time.
Thx. Thought it was just me, LoL!
