No, Hillary. Benghazi Will Not Go Away
Off in Lima, Peru — at least it wasn’t Antarctica or the Aleutian Islands — Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has fallen on the proverbial sword long distance, declaring the buck stops with her on the Benghazi security debacle.
That’s all well and good, but where does the buck stop on all the lying and covering up that followed? Yes, I used the unvarnished “L-word” because that’s what it was. How else to characterize UN Ambassador Susan Rice running around telling everyone in earshot that the Benghazi events were caused by an idiotic and unwatched YouTube trailer when Occam’s Razor — not to mention rocket-propelled grenades, an ambassador dragged through the streets, and a safe house mysteriously under fire — pointed to a terror attack commemorating September 11?
And then the president, acting like an errant husband unwilling to confess his adultery (who do you believe – me or your lying eyes?), repeated the same swill on The View nearly a week later. Unconscionable.
Why did this happen? Why this bizarre need to obfuscate or push away such an obvious truth?
It’s a lot more significant than the usual election season blather. On the deepest level, Barack Obama did not want to be found out. He had something even bigger than Benghazi to cover up – his worldview.
Our president really believes — or more precisely really wants to believe — that the Islamist threat is relatively small and can be met with what John Kerry (his debate coach) used to call “police actions.” In Obama’s case, that means drone attacks or, more famously, the assassination of bin Laden, which he ordered and his associates give him so much credit for when any U.S. president would have done the same thing. (Can you imagine the outcry if it had ever been discovered that one hadn’t?)
The lies never stop.
Hilary Clinton today, “We did everything we could to keep our people safe, which is my primary responsibility.”
How can any citizen trust this administration?
The laundry list of crimes, evidenced against the Obama regime, is vast. The moral indictments against them mirrors that of any banana republic. Is it any wonder that the Radical-in-Chief hearts with Hugo, and many of his surrogates admire Mao?

Living with the very real threat of being discovered and sent to Evin prison would have been enough for me to flee or never volunteer to begin with. What a waste of time on Hillary’s part. What’s scary is that those who follow her are as invested in her as Obama’s followers are him. They don’t apparently know who she really is, or they are completely okay with who she is. I grew up with her and Bill at the helm in Arkansas, and to this day, there are still people who are afraid to talk about them. I went to school with Kevin Ives and Don Henry (Boys on the Tracks) and in that situation, there seems to be very few people willing to speak up. This woman is no better than Obama, in fact, she has more power behind her than he does, which is even more dangerous.

I believe that they ALL have dirt on each other. Those positions, those stations, those people are incestuous. It very well may be Obama is a newcomer to the game but the people BEHIND him are not. And of those, I see Jarrett as the eminence gris. I think though that their efforts to protect him from himself have gone awry.
It’s one thing to be thought of as a poseur and lightweight who plays a lot of golf. It’s an entirely different matter when people die due to his (their) policies. I don’t want to sound like a conspiracist, although nowadays it’s difficult, but I believe that this country is in danger and the Islamists are actually the minor threat. Let’s be honest, they can take out an embassy. They’ve done it in the past. They can take out the twin towers, even. But in reality that is no more than a bitch slap. That, in the end proves more dangerous to the slapper than the slappee (if you will).
In this day and age, you will always have disgruntled people with an obsession of having been victims. That’s life in the 21st century. Where the real danger is coming from are from those shadowy people BEHIND the throne that are maneuvering the chess pieces. And even there, the Jarretts of the world are in reality minor pawns. Let’s be honest, what is she if not much more than a glorified slumlord with pretensions of having a national impact. And Obama? C’mon, EVERY city in this country has seen his predecessors. In Houston (with which I am familiar) Mickey Leland comes to mind back in the seventies. He was another “community organizer” that became a congressman, that would have become senator, etc, etc…
These people are willing to be “used” by the progressive movement to advance their own agendas. That agenda is power and wealth. The progressives are willing to offer them that in exchange for the policies that they create and implement. Is it the Soros’ of the world? Or the Tides Foundations? Or others like them? Who knows but all of this is NOT happenstance.
I read what I’ve written above and I think “Whoa, boy! Calm down. Go take your meds.” Hell, maybe I AM a conspiracist, but unless somebody else has a better explanation, a little paranoia can be a good thing.
I had a Psychology professor long ago who told the class that people exhibiting paranoia tended to be of above average intelligence. That shouldn’t be surprising, he argued, as only they are smart enough to figure out the plots against them! (He got a good laugh from that line.)
Hillary believed that a “vast right-wing conspiracy” was out to get her and Bill. Obama seems to believe that anyone who didn’t vote for him is out to get him.
Since I don’t buy the idea that either one of them is as smart as advertised, I’d have to say you don’t have to be intelligent to be paranoid. Often, all it takes is the ability to project your own basest drives onto people you don’t like.
I consider this pair a case in point.

It’s interesting that the paranoia aspect of the socialists is being discussed because in any dictatorial hierarchy, paranoia is a big player. Castro, Kim, Mao, Brezhnev all had their delusions of grandeur coupled with that of fears of those who would do them in if given the chance.
But, just because one is paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get them.
Hitlery and captain McFlappyears have a reason to be paranoid. They aren’t liked by a majority of Americans and simply by avoiding non like-travelers doesn’t make that go away. They are classic boorish obnoxicrats, thumbing their noses, not only at the conservatives but at the ignorant masses who got them elected, who believed their garbage. They generally don’t like people and worse, hold them in contempt because they are the unwashed.
Step out of the mix of current, today-isms and place them in any royal or dictatorial structure from the past and you can see them as they really are. Power-mongers, manipulators and liars out for their own welfare. They are not even sophisticated liars as they must simply lie to achieve the goals for today. That the lies won’t hold up tomorrow or even five minutes from now does not matter. They must insist on the lie for it’s their stock-in-trade and the commodity by which they maintain power.
Knowing that most of the republicans couldn’t recognize a lie 90% of the time, they have proliferated in making lying an entire industry in the political world. They feel they can say/do anything and the media will whitewash it all. But they cannot erase the human ability to think, much as they would like to. Fortunately, we are not North Korea or China or Cuba and cannot be told to simply say nothing or ignore the bad behavior of politicians. This is the thing that troubles them the most and they, as all despots have, hate us with a seething passion that would put us all in camps and prisons to satisfy their need to avoid being held to any standard but their own.
They are foul, evil people and they walk among us, all having the ability to do unspeakable things to people simply for pointing out their mistakes. The days and weeks after the election and beyond will show all what I’m talking about. The extreme pitiful behavior has yet to be seen. Sure, they act poorly out of desperation but it’s nothing compared to how they’ll act out of malice and rage later on.
Temper tantrums will be standard. But don’t expect to see it on “The View” or any public forum like that. It will be behind-the-scenes when they think no one is watching, which is when people are truly themselves.
I have come to believe over the last few years that the correct term is “communist organizer” not “community organizer”. the are working in tight concert with the Islamists to bring down America, both are totalitarian. The American people have been played, and everyone should note that EVERYTHING they accuse others of doing or being, is EXACTLY what they are doing and being. Once people see it, hopefully we can turn the ship back to the port of FREEDOM.
If I were a debate participant this evening, the question I would most want answered is why Obama refuses to relate radical Islam/Islamism to terror on any front i.e. Ft. Hood, Benghazi, changing the military training, etc.

Actually she released this right before the debate. This should come up as a question for Obama so her move is pretty smart. She takes responsibility like a professional but she makes news and Obama ends up explaining it and after that all the attention is on him. Then again this is a town hall so we might just end up with questions about greyhound rescue.

Though of course not initiated by Obama, the Ben Ghazi slaughter was supposed to serve the needs of Obama’s re-election. Instead, it is likely to have some impact on his defeat. I think that the lowest level of sewer politics regarding this event occurred last Sunday, October 14, when I heard Democratic members of Congress on TV interviews ask why Chris Stevens had gone to Ben Ghazi without proper security. I get it! Cris Stevens was naive and ill-informed, and so caused his own death. Suicide by stupidity. Therefore, the Obama administration is clean and free of blame. No, they are actually sociopaths and in the case of Mr. Obama, an easily diagnosed psychopath.

This attack was planned long before Stevens arrived in Benghazi. The enemy force was going to strike our intel assets, whether Stevens was there or not.
Sadly, his presence there may have been our misfortune.
So, the question that needs asking is Why was security so lacking in protecting that 40-man obviously not-so-covert intelligence operation located within the consulate compound, who were tasked with finding weapons given the opposition, who’ve now morphed into AlQ?

To admit failure in Libya would have been not only to admit blatant failure of security approaching the anniversary of 911 and the threats for retaliation after killing OSB and other AQ via drone attacks, but it as well would have been an admission that ME policies have failed and that Obama’s vaunted “outreach” to the Muslim world, initiated by his Cairo speech, and based on his alleged transcendent personality and personal ties to Islam, also are for naught. Obama’s arrogance and ego will not allow him to realize limits on his ability.

The fog of war is a fine thing until you remember that this whole narrative flows from an event that never took place at all. A demonstration hundreds of miles away may give one license to speculate about the causes of a second demonstration; but, absent evidence, one can not simply assert the existence of a second demonstration and then attribute it to the causes of ones choice. Regardless of motive, this was by definition a conscious invention, and it was promoted in every possible venue for many days.
Since I don’t follow this, I assume all this was said at 8:00 AM on Day One; but here it is again anyway.

Either this whole episode was a setup, or the worst dereliction of duty possible.
It was “Fast & Furious” II but intended to have the Libyan rebels take hostages, and then the state department show how utterly magical they were in getting same released without firing a shot, and both Hitlery and D’oh-bama appearing strong.
They had paid a deposit of some several millions of dollars to “Uncle Al-Queda” already and the rest to be delivered upon release of the hostages.
But Uncle Al had other ideas and killed the American infidels. Not getting the rest of the money is a Western-thinking trapping and the sand-people cared not about that when given the opportunity to make the Americans look weak.
It was scheduled to make this administration appear strong, knowing how it looked for Reagan in 1980 when hostages in Iran were released after the election. The mainstream media (ie., the propaganda arm of the Obama administration and of the democratic party) will ignore this issue, regardless of the lies or cover-up or incompetence of the Obama people. I will speculate that most americans believe it was that video that set off the attack and that they have no clue that the ambassador was requesting more security for months in advance

In Benghazi, the actual attacks were on camera, watched in Washington, and actual reports were being made at that time that said that there had been no demonstration and it was a pure attack.
And Libya’s government had warned the WH several days before of a possible problem in Benghazi.
So, third, Rice’s statements that it was due to a video were a lie; and her new statements that her comments were based on ‘Intelligence’ are also false. The Intelligence Community, the State Dept, and the WH knew, immediately, that there was no demonstration and that it was a terrorist attack.
That also means, fourth, that Biden’s claim that he and Obama didn’t know that it was an attack…is false. And his further claim that he and Obama knew nothing about requests for more security reveals an incompetent WH.
Hillary has pushed Obama up against the wall. She’s refused to be crushed by his attempt to throw her under the bus. Now, he has to accept that it’s ‘her fault’…and do what? What will he say? Will he forgive he or fire her? Heh, he daren’t do the latter as the Democrats who like her will be furious.
So, now, the WH is having Rice blaming the Intelligence Community. Remember, Rice is run by the WH, not the Sec of State. This won’t work either. The IC knew instantly that Benghazi was a terrorist attack. No fog, no uncertainty.

The statement by McCain et al does list and asks an important question, one that the administration should answer. My best guess knowing what I do of our embassy in Costa Rica is that an ambassador has considerable autonomy, and it would not surprise me if meeting visitors in Bengazi was his call.

Brilliant, strategic political move by Clinton. Tactically, she may suffer consequences for inaction on security arrangements. As well she should. But she manned up and that makes Obama look small. She played the “who do you want to take the 3 a.m. call” card in a huge trump move. She may have severed the Obama collar around her neck for serving in his administration, putting her in a freer position in 2016. She has also damaged Obama’s chances for re-election. For her this means she won’t have to undergo any uncomfortable associations or distancing from Obama if he’s not in the picture in 2016.

I fully agree; it was strictly a strategic move. It elevated her to ‘being responsible’ while pointing out that Obama was doing everything he could to evade that responsibility.
Again, if she had fought back against the Obama agenda-of-self-defined-purity, then, if/when he loses the election, she’d be blamed. There would go her 2016 chances.
Now, she’s effectively isolated Obama. He’s on his own, and the GOP and others are not relenting in attacking him and pointing out HIS responsibility. Obama can’t, now, blame the State Department – Hillary has done that. In fact, when reporters asked him if he now accepted her statement of blame, he walked away without answering.
Now, the WH is trying to blame the Intelligence Dept; that’s not going to work either. Either Obama is the president or, he’s just an eternal campaigner, an empty chair.

This is meaningless. If the State Department knew on the evening of 9/11 that the attack in Libya was NOT as a result of the video, then why did the administration keep pushing this story? Susan Rice lied on five shows five days AFTER the attack. Are you telling me that for five days the administration STILL did not know what was going on? And even though everybody in the press and in Congress was saying that this was a terrorist attack a day or two after the attack, the White House STILL didn’t know what was going on? Obama even kept pushing this story days later at the United Nations, on The View, and on David Letterman. If by that point Obama’s own National Security Council still didn’t know what was going on, a LOT of people should be fired right now. This is so phony. The White House must have known a day after the attack in Libya that the video had nothing to do with it and it certainly must have known by the time Obama went to the UN. This is a lame attempt to change the subject just before an election. Pitiful.

I was going to correct you about the ambassador being dragged in the streets, but as the rescuers and medical personnel stated we has alive at 1 AM, I now have to consider the effect on the American security personnel who tried to find him before driving an armored truck with two flat tires the 1.2 km to the annex, where hours later, two additional security personnel were killed in a motor attack. Of course, the attack is mysterious, because no one could possibly follow this truck to the annex through the streets of Bengazi, where traffic was so heavy that the truck crossed the medium and drove against oncoming traffic.

They pretend to confront ‘Islamism’, they pretend there is a difference between Al-Qaeda and the Moslem Brotherhood, but meanwhile they have nothing to say about immigrants taking over their host Western country by sharia stealth. The West cannot hope to go to war with over 1 billion Moslems. Nor can the West somehow “improve” the thinking and actions of Moslems and their respective foreign governments. This is nothing but a version of the old White Man’s Burden, skewed to accommodate a progressive outlook. All such craven and dangerously stupid attempts to anesthetize Moslems from their inherent beliefs have been proven incorrect so many times that those who do so must be living in the narrative-driven fantasyland of progressives or neocons to believe otherwise.
In order to defend traditional Western Civilization, Western governments must separate themselves as much as possible from the existential threat of the ideology called Islam. The only real solution is a total separation of Islam from the West, including a complete stop to immigration, a coherent long-term energy policy based on thorium reactors and natural gas, and the self-deportation of all those Moslems who will not immediately renounce sharia, jihad, the hadiths, and mohammed himself. For lack of a better term, call this a policy of Separationism. 1) He has no old friends from the 60′s that were terrorist that blew up Goverment buildings.
2) He has no friends, family, employees or preachers in his life that are sworn Communist.
3) He has never hung a bulb on a christmas tree that had Mao’s likeness on it.
4) He has no friends, family or former aquaintances that were or are member’s of La Raza.
5) He has no friends, family or church affiliation that believes Social Justice is superior to individual responsibility.
6) He actually goes to church… Ever seen Obama take his wife and kids to a real church?
7) He will never bow down to a man wearing a diaper on his head!
8) He will not appoint a racist as Attorney General. His attorney general will actually prosecute whites and blacks fairly.
9) He understands how to do due diligence before investing in a company that is already bankrupt.
10) He knows that Big Government IS the problem, NOT the answer to our problems.
Seems pretty cut and dry to me…
