Capo Obama: Hey, no toucha duh mullahs!
Well, it’s come down, Don Corleone. The capo di capi of the Chicago Mafia – Barack Obama – has let it be known to all of youz: Keepa duh hands of duh mullahs. No toucha Don Khamenei and dat Ahmadinejad guy.
Okay, you may have been misinformed. You may have thought, you palooka, that just because the bums in the Security Council voted ‘em sanctions it meant somethin’. You was a dope from the neighborhood. Accordin’ to the Los Angeles Family,
The Obama administration, which labored for months to impose tough new United Nations sanctions against Iran, now is pushing in the opposite direction against Congress as it crafts U.S. sanctions that the White House fears may go too far.
Administration officials have begun negotiations with congressional leaders, who are working on versions of House and Senate bills that would punish companies that sell refined petroleum products to Iran or help the country’s oil industry.
You shoulda known this because of the way the Chicago family treated them Democracy Demonstrators. Buncha hippies with no haircuts. No respec’ for their elders – and you know what happens to people with no respec’.
Okay, so this shouldn’t need no repeatin’, unless youz is really a palooka. No toucha duh mullahs! This UN stuff wuz all for show. Kinda like when Michael went up to testify in fronta the Senate.
So remember. Don’t be undercuttin’ the French cousins business – they got oil to sell. And keep the word from the Chicago Family. Don Rahm and the others. We’ll tell you what’s what. For your own health.

For an excellent analysis of the grave problem of BHO vs. the anti-government forces in Iran, I refer my fellow PJM readers to the brilliant Fouad Ajami in today’s WSJ:

Thanks for the link, Belladonna. As always, Fouad Ajami provides a superb analysis and a perspective that makes perfect sense.
When Netanyahu got the Moe Green treatment at the White House, I thought I heard Johnny Fontane singing, “Michelle, ma belle…”
Roger, it is “capo di tutti capi”.
I believe it’s “Capo di tutti i capi”
I believe it’s “Capo di tutti i capi”
(Apologies if this is a duplicate.)
But if it’s Sicilian/American, who knows? Is it mozzarella or mozzarell, pizza or apizz, spaghetti or spaghett?
I appreciate you and this web site, and what you wrote I think is true, but…
Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagon,& Carter all had the same policy as Obama towards the Iranian dictators, that parade as religious…:keep them in power at all cost!
And your carefully-researched evidence for these assertions is?
I appreciate that CNN/Fox/WSJ et al keep you in denial and from thinking for yourself; and your view that if you did not hear it from “them” it ain’t so.
That the Iranian dictators, that parade as religious, are still in power means, by definition, we made no effort to depose them; and clearly the only evidence we have is that every administrations policy towards the Iranian dictators, that parade as religious, was to minimize the amount of oil that came from Iran; we know that is true because the oil exports from Iran are posted by quantity as is the fact that their oil fields were not maintained to standard or invested in to maximize output.
That there are zero reports, public or private, that “we” tried for “regime change”: res ipsa loquitur.
We invaded Iraq for the same reason: to keep their oil export to a minimum; High oil price means Islime can finance the war against the US; low oil price means no war.

The main source of your confusion is your delusion that this war is anything other than a “nice long lasting war and sell lots of weapons” (Copyright me 1991: Long…War); and delivered to every member of congress along with the exact battle tactics that would be used against us along with the exact strategy to avoid the war…(1989-1991)
In 1986 I delivered to Congress my conclusion: “the downfall, by popular uprising of the government operating out of Moscow…similar to the way the government changed in the Philippines.
T o congress in 1989: Gorbachev would be running around selling his books for “American dollars only”
1/1999 that the WTC would be hit and I refused to travel south of 40th St after 1/99.
Et al
Insuff, Duerf is saying that his carefully researched source is…himself. Imprimatur!
We do not appreciate enough the Machiavellian subtlety of this administration, that manages to LOOK strong in its opposition to the the mullahs getting a nuke while at the same time doing anything in its power to let them getting the bomb.
Tough job , poor kids.
With all those crazies on the right calling them names (commies, nihilists, filo-jihadists…).
But one day history will reveal the true greatness of this team, when the glorious sun of the BOMB will make the horizon luminous and shining.
Obama, by circumstance and the actual, dire threat of Iran, will have to choose between acting or placing the US in danger of being literally reduced to a client state of Iran and its larger circle of ‘friends.’ In the end, he will have to violate all of his instincts which are to support ‘revolutionaries’ or face being tossed out. That is, even Democrats will probably resort to one of the several available pieces of evidence to remove him from office if he does not act.
The problem for these patriotic Democrats, such as they still exist, is that Israel can’t operate on their timetable. The discomfort poor Barack must feel knowing that ‘right wing’ Democrats and Israel may force is hand is probably directed at BP.
BP, my apologies for that.
One correction if I may. Obama’s instinct is not to support “revolutionaries” come what may. If that were true than he would have supported the Iranian dissidents last year. Obama’s instinct is to support the enemies of the USA no matter what.
I believe that he regards the IRG as revolutionaries and the dissidents as people who might like a constitutional or republican regime. He prefers the former. I recognize that the IRG is reactionary. I don’t think he does.
The silence in the MSM about what the regime has done to these dissidents is part of its unfolding travesty.
Meanwhile, Ahmedinejad is crowing that Israel is “doomed’- and so is the U.S. when he gets around to it because he will soon be able to nuke anybody he wants, according to him, anyway. he also calls Obama “weak”, which just shows that as my mother used to say, even a blind hog can find an acorn now and then.
At the same time, the Obama administration is preparing to support a UN “investigation” of the Gaza flotilla “incident”, which of course will be just another round of Israel-bashing, since nobody wants to talk about Turkey’s resurgent dreams of Ottomanism, Hamas’ dreams of using Gaza the way they used to use the Bekaa Valley, or anything to do with Islamist terrorism aimed at Israel or the West (excuse me, I should have said “man-caused disasters that ‘just happen’”).
If I didn’t know better, I’d say it was 1978, and Andrew Young was the U.S. Ambassador to the UN. In case no one else here remembers, he once voted “aye” on a UN resolution written by Yasir Arafat condemning Zionism as racism, and afterward claimed he “made a mistake”.
Which is the usual “progressive” excuse when they get caught red-handed… being openly and proudly “progressive”.

I don’t think anyone believes the new sanctions will stop Iran getting nukes.
How hard can it be if at least six other Asian nations have them already?
New dialogue from the Obamafather:
“Leave the nukes, take the cannolis.”
“Israel? Oh, you won’t see them no more.”
“We’ll make the Israeli’s an offer they can’t refuse.”
“Keep the Israelis close, but the Palestinians closer.”
“I’m the Preseident of the United States, Rahm, and I want some respect. I’m smart, not dumb like they say, I’m smart.”
“I never wanted this for you, Rahm. Senator Rahm, Governor Rahm, something, but not this.”
“They shot Andy Stern at the causeway.”
“He had Rahm hold a gun to Bibi’s head and said, ‘Either your signature or your brains is going to be on that peace agreement.’”
“In five years, Michelle, the entire Obama administration will be legit.”
“It was a boy, Barack, and I had it aborted because this whole Chicago thing has to stop!”
“It’s a Chicago message. It means, Glen Beck sleeps with the fishes.”
“Never tell anyone outside the West Wing what’s on your mind ever again. What’s the matter with you?”
“I swear, on the souls of my children, that I will not be the one here to break the peace.”
“We’re all a part of the same hypocrisy, Senator.”
For any of you out there who have NOT seen either of the Godfather movies, just forget what I said. Or else.
Obama is a know-nothing narcissistic wimp. Iran will develop nuclear weapons under his watch. They will use them. The world is going to pay a terrible price for the election of this naive incompetent.
I don’t recall the Republicans doing anything about Iran’s nukes back when they were in power.
You’re kidding, perto, right? This IS a joke? Bush tried for eight years to have not only Congress, but the world, take the Iranian nuclear threat seriously. But everybody laughed at him, thought he was “exaggerating,” and after the CIA screwed up so badly on WMDs in Iraq, nobody was going to trust our intel. In fact, around 2007 or 2008, an intelligence report was released saying that the Iranian nuclear threat was a bunch of nothing, that they had stopped working on a nuclear bomb years ago. Shows you how good our intel is these days. People also tend to forget that the Republicans lost control of Congress in 2006, so there wasn’t much they could do, especially with the Democrats falling all over themselves to bail out of Iraq. It was a stretch just being able to continue the war in Iraq, let alone take on Iran too.
And the Europeans, especially the French and the Germans, were going to solve everything through diplomacy, right? They were going to show that ignorant Texan how it was done, that everything could be solved through negotiations, right? And where are those British, German, and French diplomats today? How come they did not stop Iran from going nuclear with their much-vaunted diplomacy? They spent YEARS talking to the Iranians, and what do they have to show for it? Oh, that’s right, NOTHING!
I guess Bush and the Republicans who stuck by him were right. Not that you would get anybody on the left to admit that today.
Perto writes, “I don’t recall the Republicans doing anything about Iran’s nukes back when they were in power.”
Silly Perto–Iran didn’t have nukes back when the Republicans were in power, but it is a certainty that they will under this administration’s weak and ineffectual leadership. The Republicans, however, did all they could to persuade the international community to take the threat of Iran seriously, and to put pressure on the regime to cease its then-fledgling nuclear program, even to the point of selling Israel the much needed bunker-busting smart bombs necessary to penetrate Iran’s hardened underground nuclear facilities. An arms deal the Obama administration as since killed.
In the short time he’s been in office, Obama has assured Iran and the rest of the Muslim world that he has no intention of defending Israel, neither politically, nor militarily; his weakness has essentially signaled a green light to Iran that they may continue full speed ahead on developing their nuclear program, for which they have enough enriched material for two nuclear weapons: One to test, and one to use. To quote from an underrated George Clooney movie, “Peacemaker”: “I’m not afraid of the country that wants 100 nuclear weapons. I’m terrified of the person who only wants one.”
Why pretend the Republicans were somehow more effective than Obama at stopping the Iranians getting nukes? Petty politics?
The only thing that’s going to stop Iran getting nukes is a full scale invasion of Iran, and it doesn’t look like any country is going to volunteer.
The only thing that’s going to stop Iran getting nukes is a full scale invasion of Iran, and it doesn’t look like any country is going to volunteer.//
I think you’re wrong on both counts, although it is true that war may come AFTER they have obtained nukes.
So, wait until Iran has nooooooks, then attack them?
Not really. A cruise missile campaign against their refinery facilities, electrical generator stations, and large electrical transformer stations would by itself return Iran right back to the 19th century. No electrical power, no way to spin centrifuges, no uranium processing. It wouldn’t take more than 48 hours and no more than 300 cruise missiles (it would take less but need to have enough allocated to deal with misses).
Actually, the strongest allies against the current Iranian regime are not Israelis or Sunni Arabs in the middle east, but the Iranians themselves. A large percentage of the Iranian population has grown up under the chaffing yoke of the Mullahs and are ready to turn Iran on a different course. Obama’s lack of leadership on this issue will be dually noted.
Mr. Simon: Nice article!! i din’t know you were African Amercan!
that is a great article written with African American English!
Thank god you are black otherwise the would call you a racist!!
You’re a nut.
MR: And I suggest you are a racist for judging someones color on their language usage.
There is no strategy to invade Iran on the books. It is completely different than Iraq for dozens of reasons, the largest being land size and terrain, and its ability to shut down the straights of Hormuz.
The best that could be hoped for is targeted massive bombing, and it would need to be overwhelming in its scope, much larger than anything in Iraq, and occur within 48 hours start to stop. Fuel Air Bombs, bunker busters, mini nukes would need to be used. If you attack a Nation like Iran it must be done with cold blooded strategy to neutralize leadership and nuclear / WMD capabilities in a single massive strike that eliminates retaliation.
As far as the Organized crime theme, the FBI is currently investigating massive money laundering operation managed through Chicago involving top DEMO and GOP individuals, they have been using Turkish terrorist linked organizations to launder funds, and have been since 2006-2007.
Enjoyed reading the Mob themed posts..pretty creative.
Perto – I am simply saying that they may have them by the time an attack happens. I am also clearly implying that I disagree strongly with the conventional wisdom that ‘once Iran gets a bomb, no one will mess with them.’
That seems to me very bad logic, and very unlikely.
Or maybe Barry just plain doesn’t like Jewish people?
There is a movement in Europe that Obama seems to fully accept; dead Jews at Auschwitz are great and should be memorialized, while living Jews who want to stay that way should be scolded for any attempt at self-defense. Obama’s silence last year will never be forgotten by the Iranian protesters. We should do likewise.
he said he’s stand with the muslims. doens’t matter who they are or what they’e done, he’ll be on their side against america or the rest of the world.
ked5k,
“he said he’s stand with the muslims.”
In which one of his books did Obama make that comment. If you could direct me to it I would appreciate it.
Personally, I will never vote for a politician who would make such a comment. Any American who would has to be a complete idiot.
Wayne
Much of the constant media brouhaha and constant media hyper-focus on Israel is manufactured to order by the American CIA and British SIS and their MSM propaganda outlets. This has been going on for a very long time now, and directly relates to pressure tactics designed to draw continuous concessions from Israel.
( See: The Secret War Against the Jews: How Western Espionage Betrayed The Jewish People – http://ff.im/-lm9pU )
Full disclosure before I start: I’m a former kibbutznik (of the gentile variety) and a supporter of Zionism as espoused by Theodor Herzl. I crossed the Sinai on a bus from Egypt to Israel, from barbarism to civilization, on the night of December 31, 1987. The contrast between the two nations could not be more severe.
I was while in Egypt subject to constant harassment: theft, extortion (by tourist police, no less), beggary, and unsolicited buggery. Yuck. The place is nasty and so is the culture. I arrived in Israel and found myself at home again. Maybe better than home. I guess making love to a sabra in a bomb shelter and going on a date with (her) M-16 as our only chaperon counts for quite a bit. It’s the kind of epiphany you can’t get from a book.
Let the world be warned. The Jews have been honed by bitter experience to a hard edge. Bibi Netanyahu is just the right man for the job. Israel is up to the task be it ever so horrible. The outcome won’t be pretty, but it will be righteous. And it comes soon. The mafioso will be crushed because in the end, that’s all they are, just crime families. They should be dealt with as such.
~Paules
Now I see why your posts always make sense.
I had similar experiences in the early 1970s, but my sabra had an uzzi.
Pray you’re right about a righteous outcome, but I don’t see such in the U.S.
Righteous Goy.
If only Capo Obama were a blunt, frank, colorfully ethnic talker like Roger’s is! But he ain’t. His monotonous intonations, those lying, nasal banalities of the Ivy league anointed, lull and dull the mind, then trail meaninglessly off into thin air and vanish, a tried and true cure for insomnia.
But you better not fall asleep. That’s how he got elected. Try to stay awake this time, okay?
You forgot his trick of droppin’ the consonants when he wants to talk “street”.
Obama’s good at pretending to be something he isn’t because he has the gift of verbal camoflauge. Bush was just the opposite. Bush was pathologically incapable of public speaking. Obama is pathologically incapable of speaking the truth.
So that’s what it is! I figured it was his native-born, Hawaiian-American accent!
Perto, you are a foooool.
I love the Republican – Democrat crap back and forth.
This is mentally as thick as five bricks. The parties are irrelevant, haven’t you seen that? Look at the election choice you were handed in ’08, as if “Mr. Immigration” would have been much of any different from what we have now?
“The Establishment”, whomever they are, but they have REAL money, run this show and I suspect run Iran and most of the meaningful world as well. Look at the ineffectual cabinet chosen for this administration, 92% of which have never done anything but flap their lips and shuffle their keyboards in protest of something that wasn’t paying them to be part of it. The only person in the cabinet to have really done anything was picked as he’s a good scapegoat – and it was part of the Goldman deal perhaps – whatever that was.
There isn’t anything here but a Kabuki Theatre of the Absurd and most of the world is the unwitting audience. Sorry. It is all too contrived – and even though I believe Beck and Limbaugh to be sincere, they are only “disclosing” what is allowed to be public.
Charade! it isn’t just the Emperor that has no clothes, it is the entire administration and the semi-loyal opposition.
You have to look beyond the words, and not just at the actions, but at the impacts knowing that there are very few unforeseen consequences in politics. NB: the urban crime decline in the 90′s was one, but that was out of left field and merely a corollary irrelevancy.
Assuming that any of this crap is real is the first mistake. Assuming that you can do anything about it is the second and the one that most Americans have the hardest time leaving behind. Eventually, you might get to the position that the “new world order” has been in place for a while and we are merely subjects of the regime, but at least we still have reasonable freedom of action in the West.
Relax, sit back, and if you view all of this as Kabuki, it actually becomes a little entertaining, rather than apoplexy inducing. After all, there isn’t anything we can do, anyway. Think about it.
Jacob:
It’s pretty obvious that Obama is pro-Palestinian, anti-Israeli. Why is another question. Is Obama so ignorant of the balance of power in the middle east (a place we get most of our oil from) that he will exercise his anti-semitic prejudice simply to feel good? It can’t be political; most Americans do not have a problem with Jews. It remains to be seen what happens when Iran actually does get a nuke and provides it to a terrorist organization. If it’s used on Israel, Obama will “strongly condemn” the attack.
But if it’s used on an American city, then it depends on how that city voted.
“Is Obama so ignorant of the balance of power in the middle east (a place we get most of our oil from) ”
Not true…only about 1/7 of America’s oil imports come from the Middle East.
Canada and Mexico are by far America’s biggest suppliers of oil.
When I saw the headline in my Pajamas Media “Daily Digest”, I at first thought that there was a spelling error and that the article was about Obama’s Kapos.
But I bring you kinda good news. Yesterday morning right here in the uber liberal San Fernando Valley part of L.A. I was at a multi chamber breakfast meeting. I run into someone I hadn’t seen for about six months whose wife reads my rantings on FB. She says hi and meet my husband. This couple is what might refer to as progressive, very liberal Jews. Her husband turns to me and says although they probably wouldn’t vote for an R in 2012 there is no way they would vote for the O man. Israel being the main reason.
After a lousy business week, this definitely turned it around, my week that is.
On a different note, Roger, thanks for hosting “We con the world” after youtube.com wussed out.
I have a question for you that I posed to others, but they
have not given me a response yet: Do you see any tv network anywhere airing “We con the world” in its entirety?
Thank you.
