kobeIn the midst of the extraordinary events in Iran, it was hard to pay attention last night even to my beloved Lakers.  Good thing they got it done in five, dispensing Orlando so easily you wondered why they didn’t get it in four.  Well, that’s sports.  Kobe got his finals MVP and on to next year, when they could even be better, assuming Andrew Bynum grows up a bit.  Anyway, congrats to the Purple and Gold….  and people of LA, let’s have a sane and safe parade.

Now back to the real world – that means Twitter #IranElection.  If you haven’t been checking this, you should.  Indeed extraordinary.

Congratulations. The Rockets have promised me a championship in the 2009-2010 season. I’m sure that this will happen.

I thought the Rockets were the best team the Lakers faced. If Yao can stay healthy, they will be a force.

I’m not sure we’d have the same outcome had Yao been healthy.

I’m very happy for Pau Gasol,Roger…the idiots here in Memphis traded him away, the best player in the history of the franchise.Wonder if Shaq is tasting ashes today?

Ah well, bein from Philly 76ers seats, I do not share your tude, but I see it as ok, I’m good witit, yo. Ourday, someday.
Iran lives in interesting times, the night of the long knives and kristelnach, now, before our eyes. I doubt Obi can deal with this, and I am afraid the Guardian Council thugs have the same doubts about Obi and will make suicidal/criminal decisions. Bad things gonna happen, man, bad things.

  6. This morning I checked in to see if you’d posted on the Lakers win last night and lo and behold you were still going strong on Iran. Congratulations on their win. And now all eyes back on the extraordinary Tea Party in Tehran!
