Once the wild pigs failed in their mission you would think the Israelis would have tried larger animals – tigers, perhaps.
If only the Palestinians had some guns or explosives they might be able to begin culling the rat population. Maybe their allies in the region should take up a collection to supply them with the necessary weaponry for the job. You know, instead of just the usual humanitarian aid that goes strictly for food, clothing, and education. Enough already, they have vermin to kill!

This is like the “logic” of those who claim that Christian missionaries in the New World deliberately infected blankets with smallpox, so they could kill off the Indians (and I know several people who believe this). Too bad that at that time, disease vectors weren’t understood.
