Is there such a thing as a reverse Uncle Tom?
Whenever we see whites adopting stereotypical black speech patterns and gestures, many blacks seem to love it.
How would Japanese-Americans like it if Father Pfleger went to a Buddhist temple and said, “Ah, so solly, Meessas Crinton must-ah dlop out of honolable lace. Legletable incident.”
What about Mexican-American catholics, if Pfleger went to their church and said, “Meesees Cleenton, she got to go away ‘cuz she no good no more, I theeeeenk.”
Or if he went to a synagogue and said, “Oy vey, is this Clinton shiksa a meshugena moron, or what is her problem? Does she want our blood on the floor, I ask you?”
Why is it that so many whites and blacks think it’s just fine for whites to be this bloody patronizing?
Obama is not yet officially his party nominee and has already spent a great deal of time “being disappointed”. from grandma, his own political party rivals to a list of reverends from his own religion.
Obama is so used to “disappointments” he seems to be looking forward to it as president.
Is it any wonder he wants to meet with our fiercest enemies and critics; disappointment guaranteed and your money not returned.
Would it be a racist remark to say that as president Obama will be our first commander in victimhood?

Father Michael Pfleger will not be soon forgotten. Middle-of-the-road voters are starting to turn away from “Barry” Obama. I specifically notice less Republicans willing to vote for him. Only a short time ago a number of them were anxious to cast their ballot for a “man of color” to supposedly push ahead race relations in the United States. They are now having serious second thoughts. I am once again tempted to predict a double digit for John McCain in November. This is his election to lose.
I don’t want to get too far off topic, but the GOP is getting some good news. Polls are starting to show that most Americans reject the radical environmentalist positions on energy. Voters now want more oil exploration and drilling! If this polling data is correct—the Democrats are in big trouble!
Tom W.- your comments are priceless. How has the anointed one performed with white democrats since all his good friends and mentors have come to the attention of the public? Could be an interesting fall, particularly when it comes to the 527 ads.
Truth be know and I hate to say this, but listening to all this pulpit squealing, I wonder if Hillary just might be right.
The folks at Trinity UCC are caught up in a “time warp’ that leaves their America stuck some time around 1960. The “fellowship” with Louis Farrakhan and his clan seem to back up this idea, as much of Islam is stuck in the 6th century, making Trinity look like positively modern.
Radicals like Father Pfleger and Ayers must find the 60′s atmosphere at Trinity like reliving the glory days of the “Summer of Love.” I bet if they could unearth the bones of LBJ it would make the day complete.
Meanwhile, Obama finally catches up on the developments of the last 45 years and gleans the idea, that has been obvious to those of us that actually lived during the past 45 years, that there has been “Hope” and “Change” that seems to have gone unreported in his universe.
Which brings us back to .. where does this leave his notion of “Change” or “Hope” ?

I worked at a Catholic high school with a wealthy white religion teacher, a former Jesuit seminarian, who fancied himself “down” to help overcome his overbearing white liberal guilt. He would always use the term “the brothers and sisters”, would single out the black kids in class with a “you know what I’m talkin’ about right?” practically holding up a high five, and once referred to J.C. Watts as “Uncle Tom.”
I loathe to the nth degree this persona. People like Pfleger and similar ilk are the bottom of the barrel most repulsive cretinous suck ups alive. So completely oblivious to their own glaringly obvious racist notions that motivate their pathetic “oh please love me, black man” sniveling. Losers.
Look for Obama switching churh, any minute.

When I was listening on this on Hugh Hewitt (sp?), I was thinking “This doesn’t sound like somebody named Pfleger.” I think it’s really condescending when somebody emulates the patterns and cadences of a group in order to gain credibility or whatever he was attempting to do. Had I been a member of the congregation I’d have been insulted and not have reacted positively. At first I thought that the reaction might be a cultural difference until I remembered that Hillary does this continually.

I thought they said “Father Wigger.”
I heard the guy talk on a radio show yesterday. He sounds oddly like a phone stalker, with the heavy breathing into the mic and all. And his weird wailing crescendo stuff is truly bizarre.
