Word has it from Paris that a French court has overturned the libel conviction of my friend Philippe Karsenty in the matter of France 2/Mohammed al-Dura. Readers of this site and Pajamas Media know how closely we have been following this trial. Look for video from Richard Landes on PJM soon. Here is his early report.

2. Stay on topic.

  1. Never would have thought it possible. Vive la France. Glad you guys at PJM will follow it, since the MSM (here and in Europe) will most likely bury it. Or will they?

Huh. Word’s getting out a bit slow. A Google News search only returns 5 links.

But, this did just happen. I’ll give it a day before I pass judgement on the MSM’s handling.

A quick search at WaPo and NYT yielded nothing – natch. If it ever gets mentioned at all you can be sure it will get the “fake but accurate” treatment. After all, they saw it on TV, and it’s “seared, SEARED” in their collective memory.
